DH has to go in hospital tomorrow for brain tumour removal, am frightened.

had a phone call form neuro bloke at hospital this morning to say scan shows aggressive growth of tumour. tumour now thought to be higher grade
have sorted out for the kids to be looked after, they are blissfully unaware.

Am thinking of you, onlyjoking. Glad you've at least had some news now.

i am gonna head over to the hospital now cos it will take me a while with the traffic.
the kids are with a mate and another mate is gonna go over and pick them up and bring them home get them to bed and stuff cos i won't be back until 9 ish

hope you found dh as well as can be expected after his op today .i guess he will still be pretty much out of it.Im glad this day has gone for you both.

he ended up spending four hours in recovery as his heart rate was to high, they did lots of tests to find out why but couldn't work out why it was high, they thought it must be cos he was in pain so gave him lots of morphine, he came up to the ward and i got to see him at 9pm. i have never been so pleased to see him. his head is very swollen
he has a black eye and a bandage covering most of his head, he was very emotional and very drowsy, very confused but not surprizing really.
i am so so pleased that he is alive, i love him sooo much. what a day,

some sleep would be good, i haven't had much the last two nights. whats the betting that DS will be up at four.
mind you i need to look rough tomorrow as we have a meeting to review the kids respite care. i feel fairly sure they wont reduce it once they see the state of me

do / say whatever it takes to hang onto it oj!

hot bath
lavender oil
hot milky drink
reading dull book
world service.....?
hope you get some sleep.

i think the bags under my eyes will speak volumes!
i did speak to the social worker this morning to update him as i wont be able to say anything tomorrow when the kids are around,

i am using the much tried and tested wine tio aid sleep, thou as i have been bitten everywhere by mozzies i think the piriton will aid sleep, until my 4 o'clock alarm call!

What a relief it must have been to see him OJ after such a gruelling wait for you and long, long op for him... hope you can get some peaceful sleep tonight.
