Ds has to have a biopsy tomorrow and this is one of the possibilities. He is only 14 months and apart from 3 lumps in his jowls seems totally fine.

glad he liked it and glad it got there - Oxford virtually underwater at the moment.

So happy that things are shaping up for you and so happy that he is happy.

oh no, have the biopsy results or blood tests come back yet?

deaconblue · 30/07/2007 21:13

Weirdly the bug in his lumps is just a dull bacteria which lives on our skin all the time. This worries me and makes me think maybe there is an immune system problem that means his body hasn't coped with a simple bacterial infection. It's such a guessing game until we get the biospy results on Wed. Poor little man now has 3 open wounds on his jaw line which have to be dressed every day. He screams throughout and I have to hold him down. what a grim month we have had, just have to keep hoping for good news on Wednesday

Seems good today. Had a good stare at his wounds when they changed his dressings today and can't see any lumps anymore. So hopefully that means no enlarged lymph nodes there anymore. He'll have a scar of about an inch behind his ear and two the size of my thumb nail on his jaw. not too bad if that's all we have to deal with. Will post as soon as the oncologist calls tomorrow although am wondering if they'll tell me on the phone or just want to arrange an appointment.

Sorry

my mil died this morning - her body just could not cope and the cancer was very aggressive and advanced - they gave her huge doses of chemo but was too much

I feel so sad and utterly useless.

controlfreakyflitwick · 01/08/2007 00:16

very sorry to hear that octo.
