Reassurance please.How old were you when you started periods ?

DD1 is 15,has a bust now and weighs a healthy 8 stone and a bit.
No sign what so ever of periods.
Should i be worried ?
I think i am as i think i was about 13.

I was 14 and 8 months
My dsis was 15, and thought she was never going to get them!

If I remember it right, I was late 14.

My 12th birthday, not the greatest of presents, and I had a 28 day cycle from the start so I had a period on every birthday from then on until I had my babies.

I was 12 or 12 IIRR.

I was 14.... my mum and my sis were 12.... my grandmother was 9!

Nearly 14 I think.

I got DD boobs at 11, but no periods until 15.5.
Sister was the same

My girls unfortunately have all started before 12 years old

Wouldn't worry too much, it will happen and she'll hate it just like the rest of us lol

I was nearly 13 (and not very happy about it arriving!). Doesn't body fat/weight %/ratio have something to do with it?

13.5 but some of my friends started as early as 9 others were 16 ish so no rules

Cali you wouldnt ahve got the shortest girl award at our school, we had one girl in the year above who was 4ft (and still is) and my best mate was 4ft then (and 4' 9" now)
