Black line on thumbnail

I've already booked the GP appointment as I'm getting another issue checked out. I thought this was a pen mark but it's not. I was merely curious about it when I googled but noted skin melanoma is associated with black lines like these. I haven't hit it recently to cause trauma and it doesn't hurt.

I’ve just seen this, but want to send

Two weeks of bandaged thumb is now causing me a fair bit of wrist and hand aching (have got mild hypermobility in my joints so makes ‘em sore anyway if I overuse). Makes typing and using my phone harder. I’ve put ibuprofen gel on it but isn’t helping very much. Sorry to moan... 9 days to gooooo....

Just read your entire thread...how bloody horrendous for you and your family. Hopefully you will get some answers soon!

Oh you poor thing. Hope your results are ready earlier, like they were for a PP. The waiting is hard enough without all the inconvenience and discomfort to go with it! Thinking of you.

Just seen this and can't believe this has all happened since February! What a journey you've had. So glad the breast lump wasn't sinister and fingers crossed for good news tomorrow on thumb biopsy.
