Hope all is well Op

Kidnapped · 31/12/2016 13:46

Didn't know that, Cherry.

Telford would be too far for us to go in any event but useful info for people who are up that way.

TheWitTank · 31/12/2016 13:46

Fingers crossed all is well OP and he is on the mend! Flowers

WetNovemberDay · 31/12/2016 13:48

Yikes. That's some urine colour!
Hope he's ok.

Glad to see you've sought some medical advice. Fwiw I think I'd have headed to my A&E with urine that colour.

expatinscotland · 31/12/2016 13:48

Hope he's alright.

BoboBunnyH0p · 31/12/2016 13:48

Lynnm63 · 31/12/2016 13:49

Hope your dh is ok op and you obviously did the right thing as they've triaged you and you were moved to the front of the queue.

Benedikte2 · 31/12/2016 13:52

Hope DH has good treatment. At least it's being taken seriously .
For posters saying OP and others shouldn't post here about medical matters please consider the current situation where people are hesitant about approaching A&E lest their problem be declared trivial and staff denigrate them. Mumsnet can give posters the confidence that a trip to A&E is warranted and not unreasonable.
One OP posted recently that Mumnet posters saved her life.

MamaBear98 · 31/12/2016 13:55

That's definitely not normal! Shock I hope he gets sorted asap Flowers

Kenworthington · 31/12/2016 14:14

MountainPeaks · 31/12/2016 14:18

Bened Yes - and the poster who was unsure if she should take her baby in - mumsnetters said yes and it turned out the baby had sepsis.

CherrySkull · 31/12/2016 14:22

In case anyone is wondering.

UTI's are common in women, and are usually cystitis, however blood in the urine should ALWAYS be checked.

UTI's for men are a lot rarer and usually a lot more serious and should be checked out ASAP.. again, ANY sign of blood in urine needs checking straight away.

Sunshine59 · 31/12/2016 14:25

Here's where to find your nearest walk-in centre, if like me you move to an unfamiliar part of the country:
