I said I wouldn't post again, but since MN has been supportive I thought it only fair.

We found out this afternoon, that dh has an agressice adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. With treatment a 'good' prognosis would be a a year or two. I know that in practice it will probably be less than this.

Poor sweet man.

maddiemostmerry · 03/12/2006 11:35

MB I am sorry to read this. Much love to you all.

mymama · 03/12/2006 11:44

So sorry MB. My thoughts are with you and your dh and your children.

You mentioned your dh crying for the children. I lost my dear dad when I was 9 years old. The Christmas before he left us he went out and personally chose a memorable gift for each of us just from him. At that time I did not realise the significance but I do now and I still have mine.

threelittlegifts · 03/12/2006 12:07

Oh mb

I am so, so sorry to hear this. I thought from the title this would be you, and knew what I would find, but still opened the thread hoping I was wrong.

No words can help, but please know you and your lovely family are in our thoughts,

You always sound like a very strong person, offering good advice to others. I'm sure that you have people in RL to give you both support. On mn, we are all here for you.

I'm so sorry that it's not better news. xxx
