For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY

(if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion)

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY

(can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more)

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being.

My god Overrun what a meal! I don't know whether to be or

(bit of both)

can you just type the address of the page you are trying to link to, then we can work through how to do the link thing? was it another thread you have started recently? I will have a hunt and see if I can find it...

Overrunnerbean · 26/11/2006 21:04

how do you work out the address of the thread, where does it say that? I am going back to the thread and having a look. Tatties has found it.

FrannyandZooey · 26/11/2006 21:07

I have found it now, it is here

To find a thread you are on, go to "threads I'm on" at the top of the page near the links that say "active convos" and all that

To find the address, click on the address bar at the top of your screen just under the tool bar

where it says www.

etc

right click on that, click "copy", then go to the place you want to put the address and right click, click "paste"

do you want to try doing that before we go any further?

Overrunnerbean · 26/11/2006 21:08

I am a bag of nerves when ds is ill. He's ok now, just worn out and cuddled up asleep on me atm. Think we'll be off to bed soon.

Overrunnerbean · 26/11/2006 21:32

All 10/10ers, sorry for hijacking the thread, but am well pleased with myself for managing a link. Its only a boring old rant about my bloody family, so don't feel obliged to look. Just really pleased that I DID IT, with the help of our illustrious leader of course

FrannyandZooey · 26/11/2006 21:36

WAHOOOOOO! Now I have left myself no time right now to actually comment on the thread, but well done that woman

I think the sister relationship is almost as hard as the Mother daughter relationship Sometimes glad that I have got three boys

Overrunnerbean · 27/11/2006 16:02

No one around today by the looks of it. I will share anyway, breakfast museli, usual 2 apples, 1 banana scenario (we get kilo bags from Riverford) and onion soup for lunch. Plus apple juice. I will say eight so far, as had a lot of onion soup, it had about 8 onions in it

Tatties · 27/11/2006 16:18

Oh goodness nowhere near for me today - still not feeling like eating much other than honey on toast and rich tea biscuits. But I have had a pear

Aviatrix, good on you! I bet ds looked cute

StrangeTown · 27/11/2006 17:45

Hello Everyone - been missing you all on this thread. Not logged in for a few days as I am working away at moment. Hotel food is rubbish. Dreading what I am going to have for (group - argh) dinner.

Nice to know that everyone is now feeling better, Earthy, DN as Mrs C sounds amazing, how is she managing to be so evil??? I cried loads at the Northern Lights books. When Lyra has to leave Pan and when Hester and Lee the balloon man died. Aww.

Excuse me did you all miss that I'd fallen down the stairs!! Have got very bruised botty!!

I'm so in awe of dn and her acting skills, she's so kind and thoughful in RL then turned into such a complex character with so many layers of deception and seduction. She wasn't afraid of silence and used her eyes to say so much. We are looking for a Theatre/Drama group for her at the mo, do you know of anywhere? We are in Newbridge area of South Wales so Cardiff would be ok. She also plays guitar and piano and writes and sings her own songs. They are the Von Trapp family!!

The stage play is amazing, you would have loved the daemons and the little Gallvapasian spies. I cried lots but seeing Will and Lyra in the Botanic Gardens but in different worlds was heart breaking.
I've eaten Mango, kiwi and apple, blueberries cranberries and banana, parsnip, carrots, potatoes, onions, leeks and swedes, yes, good old veggie stew for tea with DUMPLINGS!!

Overrunnerbean · 27/11/2006 21:03

there used to be a drama group in Cardiff called ORBIT, I was in it as a teenager for a while. Hope that helps

Tatties · 27/11/2006 21:18

Earthymama, I did miss that about your fall! I bet that hurts.

I have done better this evening, I've had some courgette with dinner, a kiwi and an apple. Think my appetite is coming back now.

Franny is it nearly time for a new thread? This one is getting rather long, it keeps crashing on me!

FrannyandZooey · 27/11/2006 21:40
