For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY

(if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion)

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY

(can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more)

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being.

3 portions already in my bircher museli - needed it off the tandem feeding extravaganza this morning.

Today the tree shields me from the throngs of firepeople who, have flocked to rescue me and mill about below me. Only magic firepan´s can release me now?? ...

I invoke a long-forgotten "releasing -beautiful- papillons- from- oak -trees" spell that only firepans recall,(the incantation is seccret) and the oak is rent apart, as papillon collapses in my arms, though I revive her....with a very healthy cucumber and carrot juice......

Morning! I can barley manage a 'ch' let alone a full 'cheer' this morning i have spent the night throwing up all my fruit and veg from yesterday and spent all morning on the toilet with the um other end

So i fear if i pom pom anywhere i may vomit or worse
Bloomin baby keeps kicking the crap out me (no pun intended) making me feel sicker.

But i have at least been able to eat this morining only an orange and a nectarine but it's a start, im also suffering from hot flushes........ hmm must be all the excitment of Panman and his shiney helmet

hope things get better as the day goes on. I thought your absence may be because Frances didn't come round to do you up...hey ho!

It does mean you have to excel in providing your, ahem, morning service tomorrow....and yes my helmet is positively gleaming at just that thought.......

My most humble apologies, I have no shortage of imagination nor flirtatiousness. I will endeavour to concentrate on my fruit and vege and not the social dessert.

Am eating a pear that a 3 year old friend gave me from her tree atm

It is one of my favourite parts of the week, actually, looking round the room during my baby class, watching the children all playing with quiet concentration and such incredible purposefulness, and the parents happily chatting away, looking relaxed. I think "ruddy hell, I did that"

Had another of those Sainsbury's over-priced salads for lunch - must be at least 5 portions in there???

About to venture into the dark arts of lentils and pulses..for a non-meat eater I have managed to avoid these for quite a while......

Have just been to the first meeting of a 'practicle parenting' course seem's interesting.

I think Franny you have created a saucy bunch of peep's on this thread must be all the fruit!

I will be ready and waiting tomorrow for the morning cheer................ arn't you all lucky!

I know i don;t mention it much but i am actually still eating my 10 a day and doing the excersise, any newcomers who drop in will read my posts and assume i just a random trouble maker!

have had health-givimg smoothie with wild orange and eccinachea; salad sarnie, plums and melon. now woreking 5 days a week so need all the energy I can get
