My cervix is on the outside, it can't all hang where it should and no manner of pelvic floor exercises or devises will get it back there.

This thread, hopefully, will be for those waiting, recovering or supporting

I'm wearing this which is more like a dress in me, leggings and heeled ankle boots. Very forgiving on the wonky tummyGrinThe hairdresser has given me the whackiest hairdo (f up-do) you are ever likely to see.I'mConfused hoping it will calm down a bit before 6pm.

TiredDog · 06/12/2013 14:56

That is gorgeous! You will look stunning the hair do is probably great and you're just self conscious because it's different

spudmama · 06/12/2013 15:09

shewhowines · 06/12/2013 16:23

fab dress - go knock em dead. Don't do anything we wouldn't do... although some of us are up for doing more than others tireddog

I had strange dragging sensations around 6 weeks. It sort of went backwards then forwards again. Weird!

TiredDog · 06/12/2013 17:56

Mucking out at 8 weeks... Now that is hardcore

Getting into bed earlier I had a very sharp pain in the wound over my umbilicus. It's now bled and is v sore so I must have opened it a little bit. Bum.

On sofa with doggie for company as DP has taken DD to a school disco (and is helping out..he is a keeper I think)

thekingfisher · 06/12/2013 18:20

Hi all, a bit depressed that tummies are still sore at 6- 8 weeks - its that constant dull or sharpy ouch thats getting me down and that doesn't seem to be affected by painkillers….

My wound is a bit better - although one little area is persisting in just winking at me and won't close properly which is very annoying and I'm spending a lot of time examining it which isn't helping…

I thought I might steri strip it tonight so I don't open it up in my nigh time movements which si what seems to be happening.

Very envious of people going out. I am going stir crazy . I KNEW I was going to be a terrible patient - and I am !

In fact I hate having someone in the house with me during the day as I can't just chill out - its almost worse than the pain! Grin

CremolaFirCone · 06/12/2013 18:29

Oh king have you any dressings you can tape it up with? Might be more comfortable overnight.
I am 10 weeks today and have no pain whatsoever but still have creaky days from sitting about I suppose.
I doubt i last long this evening . There at some serious party goers going - drinking will be copious and there will be naughty behaviour I'm sure. May have to make my excuses one we've had dinner....
My bedroom looks v cosy....Wink

TiredDog · 06/12/2013 19:13

Steristrip sounds a good plan king

Ger'on with you Crem!! Get out there and party said from under a duvet on the sofa

shewhowines · 07/12/2013 09:14

Odd hold the towel when you sneeze. I got a mild cold immediately after surgery. It's not nice!

I'm not sure about the leaking. Perhaps get it checked out?
