Your wig is very like my hair I wouldn't have known, I need to get one sorted too
It is good to see real people though sometimes I still forget who's who !

Gigondas · 24/07/2013 16:35

I was amazed how life like the wigs I have were.

kitkat1967 · 24/07/2013 16:42

so exciting.

Glad you like the wig - I put the picture up but didn't say it was a wig and people who didn't know about the BC and don't see me regularly didn't realise.

malteserzz · 24/07/2013 17:53

I've packed my chemo bag Hmm
Going out tonight for a meal with dh don't really feel like it but I'll only stay in moping if not
Can I have a pimms do you think ?
Bet I don't sleep tonight

Gigondas · 24/07/2013 17:56

Have a pimms - can you not have a takeaway if you fancy it?

kitkat1967 · 24/07/2013 18:07

Malt i have a chemo too - seem to take a ton of stuff with me each time!!

BTW I have a psychology degree - wierd huh.

malteserzz · 24/07/2013 18:08

No I'll go out may as well while I still feel ok, it's our anniversary on Friday and kids are away tonight so good chance, we're only going local.

malteserzz · 24/07/2013 18:11

Mine was only half psychology the other half was society and government !

BetsyBoop · 24/07/2013 18:21

glad to hear the pain is a bit better today Ruby

love the new pic on FB gigs glad you managing to do some "normal" things, it makes such a difference

grabs a slice of topsy's yummy quiche

malt I say a little of whatever you fancy tonight :) (for me alcohol tastes weird and yuck on chemo, so enjoy a cheeky one while you can ;) )

Well I'm still waiting for the nausea and wobbliness to pass this cycle, it was the following Friday last time, so I'm hoping two more days. I just keep thinking only one more FEC and I gather generally the T doesn't make people as sick, so fingers crossed...The kids have been really patient with me, but it's so frustrating not being able to do more with them...

BetsyBoop · 24/07/2013 18:23

x-post - my first degree is half psychology (and half maths) - spooky!

kitkat1967 · 24/07/2013 18:33

Betsy - I ended up choosing between Maths (which I am good at) and Psychology (which I had never done) and going for Psy as I didn't really know what I would do with a Maths degree. Never used the Psychology anyway but had a good time doing it!!

BetsyBoop · 24/07/2013 18:46

kitkat - I started off doing a Maths degree (I was really good at maths at school or so I thought!) and ended up switching to a Natural Sciences at the end of my first year as I'd decided by then I hated maths and it was too hard - psychology was one of very few options I had at that point as I only had one science A level, I knew nothing about it but ended up really enjoying it (I was stuck with doing half maths by that stage) Haven't really used much of either IRL TBH

BetsyBoop · 24/07/2013 18:47

PS - see we really are twins Grin

kitkat1967 · 24/07/2013 18:48

Betsy - if I'm honest I suspect I would have found it hard too - big step up from Maths at school.

MaryAnnSingleton · 24/07/2013 19:01

Swinging by to wish malt lots of luck for tomorrow. I had all FEC and only had steroids in my syringe driver but the C of the FEC gave me an itchy nose and made me sneeze Grin

Really glad gigs and ruby are less painful. Hopefully this is the start of feeling better. Love your new profile pic gigs you really suit your hair short. Where is your chemo curl? Mine is hideous. I look about 60 with a perm.

mas looks like you have having fun and well done to T on his result.

Still no word from EMIN, if you are reading thinking of you.

Waving to everyone - back to work so less time to MN Sad

BetsyBoop · 24/07/2013 21:08

malt I'm going to wish`you good luck for tomorrow now, as I might not be compos mentis early enough tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you and hoping all goes well. The anticipation is honestly worse than the reality. You will be ok. Really. We will all be waiting for you when you get home. :)

smee · 24/07/2013 21:09

Hope you're having a nice meal with your DH, Malt. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Another step closer to the end of treatment. Smile

I have befriended you too, KitKat. You look fab in your wig. Smile
