Afternoon all, - topsy - bloody hospitals, why do they always do stuff like that, don't departments communicate in any way when a patient is having different kinds of treatments for the same illness? - madness, hope they get their act together soon for you.
MAS - poor you with a streaming cold, have you got any honey and lemon to drink - I always find that quite comforting, - and some of those tissues with balm in them otherwise your nose will get sore from blowing.
Gig - glad the new nanny is being helpful, - and letting you relax, - nothing worse than people yapping at you when you want to rest
- As topsy says keep an eye on the temp., - but it is nigh on impossible with small children to avoid coming into contact with all lurgies, - but you'll hopefully retain a bit of the immunity you will have built up to childhood germs over the last few years.
I'm feeling a lot better today, - pain is much less and I don't feel quite as tired. In fact I have been out for a walk to the village shop, 'Ooh I haven't seen you for a while what's been wrong? Oh shingles, that's nasty, where was it on your face? - oh yes I can see the marks, didn't you have that a while ago, etc etc.' - everyone knows everything about you in a village!!
I'm doing a little painting of some fuschias instead of a card for mum's birthday, - so need to finish it off so I can post it with her present tomorrow.
