Hiya Grin

Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

Well done Jet! Grin

Shiney Grin I had to keep my beady eyes on yr10's and 11's this morning with their English Language exam. Then I went to do my normal shift on reception.

What have you had for tea Jaq?

I have going on the cross trainer at the gym Vinny.

I've been lusting after gay Irish scientists and erm, wishing I'd been a better student, how about you Shiney? Been keeping JL afloat? Wink

Light, I know you don't need to be a Scientist (the role I was there about was more my field) but they had serious equipment n stuff, I wanted to play. I only understood "chromatography" though, no mention of a blast furnace, darn you GCSE Chemistry.

ThatVikRinA22 · 29/05/2012 19:06

Bella running out doors is much much more interesting than the treadmill....

i have done half an hour out door running today. i feel all smug now Grin really no one looks at you. no one cares and tbh - if they did i wouldnt notice - i stick my ipod in and let nothing (literally!) stand in my way! (if they did i would run them over Grin

today was the first day of my new healthy eating plan. i am not dieting. im healthy eating. its easier in my head than dieting....

breakfast was porridge made with water

mid morning - banana

lunch - garden salad with 2 slices of turkey, and dressing
a WW youghurt

dinner - chick pea summer salad thanks to jaimies dinners....
and 1 glass of red wine (small)

i intend to have a gin and low cal tonic later. i dont think thats a really bad day so far.....there is time yet to blow it though.....

Lizzylou · 29/05/2012 19:16

I'm with Vicar, Bella, I can't more than 15mins on a treadmill, but used to can run for 60 mins outdoors. In the good old days anyway.
Now it's probably 5mins in all honesty.

I hate working. And kids clubs and DH's work.

As do my flabby thighs.

BellaVita · 29/05/2012 19:20

Maybe when I come back from NY then I may have a go at running outdoors.

You hate working Lizzy? Shock. It does get easier as they get older.

Sounds like a good day Vic. Have you got them there shoes yet?

OP posts:
ThatVikRinA22 · 29/05/2012 19:27

oh those shoes are elusive - no where has a size 4 and the of the ones i have ordered via t'internet the sizes are sooooo different i think i need to try before i buy.

i ordered 4's from DPs - too small
4's from Next - too big
4's from M&S - too small and now they seem to not be doing the nude colour Angry

i am still on the nude high shoe hunt. (dont say that after a few Wine s Grin
ha! god im on a roll.....

TheLightPassenger · 29/05/2012 19:38

not it's not the work that's the problem per se, it's the logistics of it all isn't it Lizzy?

re:shoes, I wouldn't be brave enough to by shoes on line, it's hard enough finding comfy shoes in store. I've got a work do next week, and unless my dress goes with my red clarks' shoes I'm a bit stuffed, will have to go for something bland like cheap black pumps.

Well done with day 1, Vic.

MrsNouveauRichards · 29/05/2012 20:11

I thought mine was the first thread baby? Wink Grin

I had a beautiful quilt made for me and everything! (trying to not out myself directly iyswim?)

But Yay! for new thread!!!! I have lost a bit of weight, put nearly 3stone some back on, had a baby, lost some more, put a couple of ponds back on due to a cold winter Grin and lost some more. Another 7lbs off would be amazing.

It is lovely to see everyone again Smile

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 20:36

Well now ladies... shall I make my weight confessions first or shall I just leap into sheepish hello's (and hope in a needy way that you might actually remember me just a leetle??)

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 20:39

I'm going for sheepish hello's.

Hope you are all doing well, I see some of you popping up onto facebook now and again and meet up with the lovely Sazz (when I can get my diary management into some semblence of order).

Now weight loss..

Put 2 stone back on of the 4 that I lost eeeek!!

DreamsInBinary · 29/05/2012 20:39

Evening, checking in!

Breakfast: Low fat yog and pineapple
Lunch: Boots Shapers Meal Deal
Mid-afternoon Snack: NOTHING!
Dinner: Lamb chops and roasted veg couscous
Pudding: Half a bottle of pinot

No exercise today - I ran 10km yesterday and having running club (god, it HURTS) tomorrow.

Bella - Vicar is absolutely right about no-one looking at you running outdoors. It's as though you become invisible - seriously - because people just see "a jogger".

DreamsInBinary · 29/05/2012 20:40

MyCat!

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 20:46

Hello DIB Grin

I shall check in food (and we will see why I am now 2 stone up again!!)

Breakfast - 1 pain au chocolat
Snack - 3 x oat biscuits
1/2 packet piggie spongey sweets
Lunch - Jacket potato with chilli
Tea - haddock in batter, about 10 chips, peas
Half bottle of pinot and another pain.

Blimey, what a bloater!!

Lizzylou · 29/05/2012 20:47

I am sobbing about 8 yr old boys football.
I think I may cancel my friday night out.
My first born has way more class than I do, at age 8. If I'd have been at end of footie practice I think I'd be wearing some big earrings.

Fucking toss bagging socialy inaept failed footballer wank bags.

Sorry.

DreamsInBinary · 29/05/2012 20:49

MyCat, can we swap?

LL - what's going on, lovely?

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 20:49

MyCat mine is worse then yours. promise. can post if you like but it will look very bad admist all this healthy eating.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 20:57

Lizzy, why are you sobbing? What's happened?

Bitchy, I am now adding an Irish Whiskey to the list (crappy long day, carppy long week in fact!).

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:03

Sorry Lizzy x-posted. Are you ok? Football politics again?

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:05

Mycats- breakfast was a chocolate chip muffin. It doesn't get much better. And have broken the rules the dietician gave me still drinking coffee soooo much to do, so little time. No sleep with be gained here. Hope your week gets less bad.

ThatVikRinA22 · 29/05/2012 21:09

you need a Wine lizzy? just one....should be fine.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 21:10

Aah Bitchy, at least we aren't alone. Apparently it helps to write every single thing down so you can't ignore what you've eaten. I still pretend though !

I've just remembered the Raspberry Smoothie ice lolly I had as well.

Lizzylou · 29/05/2012 21:10

DS1 has been dropped by a great height at the age of 8.
I am ready to kill.
FGS, not everyone is thick enough to think that their kid is going to be the next Beckham and save them.
Fucking thick failed footballers.

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:13

I have different rules though. I am not allowed to calorie count, i am not allowed to restrict food. And I am supposed to be eating 3 meals plus 3 snacks per day. I have also broken the rule on veg/fruit. But will rectify that later and have some veg or something for supper.

SizzleSazz · 29/05/2012 21:13

Evening Smile

Lunch was a packet of mini cheddars. Nuff said Blush

Lizzy - i think you need to install a punchbag. You would be a slim jim in no time Grin

No Wine for me. I am STRONG. for now

DIB - Running club? Nutter!

SizzleSazz · 29/05/2012 21:15

I shall be quaffing champagne shortly though when i win £70 odd million on the Euromillions.
