Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

Unfortunately ds couldnt lie if his life depended on it. It's easier to teach just to keep his mouth shut On a plus note he says lovely this about my parenting and how much he loves me. Without prompting and regularly so i guess it evens out.

I heard a rumour that the nice weather wasn't supposed to last til the weekend. Personally I hope it does because I have remembered where the water bombs are and I intend to take some revenge on ds in a water bomb war when the heat is at its most yucky tomo. [evil grin]

There's no shade in our garden, so can't really take DD out in it, though DS can be trusted not to go roaring into the road now. I'm going to buy a gazebo I think.

There were picked up in asda a while back (2 summers ago I think) and put somewhere safe. I may be taking my safety in my hands when i try to fill them up as they are not the strongest nor the longest last in design. lots of old towels to hand is going to be the order of the day
