Hiya Grin

I'm Bella...

Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

How the feck is everyone?

Ahh taking football tooo seriously at 8, not being allowed to play the game for enjoyment rather then performance. How is ds1?

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 21:15

Oh Lizzy, what a shame. I hope he hasn't taken it too hard.

Perhaps he could play for another team instead?

My DS isn't old enough yet (3) so I haven't had it first hand but I get the impression that some of these kids football coaches think they are managing the England team or something.

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:16

Aha! My powers of detection are astonishing Sazz.. non? Grin

Bitchy, are you on a low carb diet? I had one from the doctor too, it did work, just me that was useless!

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 21:26

I have now had two pieces of chorizo!

My list is getting longer by the second.

STEP AWAY FROM THE FRIDGE!

SizzleSazz · 29/05/2012 21:28

Is your computer actually IN the fridge MyCat? Shock. Otherwise you are multitasking in spectacular fashion.

Bella - the champagne is on ice until the millionaires draw. Which, having losr out on the main prize, i will SURELY win????

BellaVita · 29/05/2012 21:30

My DH is in the fridge and keeps turning up with little snacklets.

If I was in the fridge we'd have to call the fire brigade to get me out (or possibly a phsychologist to coax me out). Grin

VinegarTits · 29/05/2012 21:34

i promise i will get on the cross trainer tomorrow, what with a full time job and a new business on the go (im making orders when i get home until stupid oclock) plus the finnster to feed, bath and entertain i havent had the time tonight

Jet, its lovely to see you and great that you are doing so well, you will have to pop on over for another visit with your gorgeous girls!

Bloody footy politics lizzy grrr, you should burst all their balls on them

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:35

Nope not allowed to no carb. I virtually landed myself in hospital through not eating and seriously over training last year. Didn't lose weight but was blacking out all over the place and very poorly. I am allowed to lose weight but have to followed a set of rules. It kinda works with the principle of the mfp ? but can't be arsed to check principle thingy of eating back exercise calories. I physically can't some days. So they had devised a set of rules which force me to eat, and hopefully undo some of the damage I did. Hence eating a little but often and not resistrict/counting. Only thing allowed to restrict is caffine, sweets/chocolate and cheese which were the only things i was eating when i did eat Tis always quite funny sitting in the meetings discussing this with the dietician going you need to increase and change what you eat and the doc going but you need to lose weight. Seems so contridictory but am beginning to start to feel a bit better finally. Going to be a long journey though.

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:37

And that is the one and only time I shall explain. Discussing it doesn't change the past, doesn't undo the damage. But i don't want it to be my future either iyswim.

MyCatIsAStupidBastard · 29/05/2012 21:43

Bitchy, well done for explaining it here. I shan't refer to it again. Didn't mean to pry.

It's a big thing to get over and I'm glad you are doing well.

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 21:52

No it's ok and I almost didn't post on the thread at all because I am doing things very differently then a lot of these lovely ladies. Their journeys are far more admirable. Not eating is the cowards way out. And I am not proud of the damage.

jaquelinehyde · 29/05/2012 21:53

I stuck to my dinner plan and had tuna, tomato, pasta thing with melted cheese on top buuuuuut I only ate a tiny cheesy bit and left the rest until the end and because I was so full I gave it to dh.

I have been very good today, I even resisted having a banana before dinner but I'm flagging a bit now so will have my pud in a min.

Looking after Mum's dog (Mabel) for 3 weeks whilst she is on her hollibobs so I'm planning a good walk tomorrow with her for a bit of exercise and I'm going to try and do 15mins on the step whilst watching tv at night just for an added bonus.

I will kick start this bloody weight loss!

Bella is it Thursday or Friday night that you leave for New York. I'm green with envy by the way.

jaquelinehyde · 29/05/2012 22:01

Bitchy stop being so harsh on yourself, we all struggle and cope with things in different ways.

You post on here anything that you want to and likewise you have no need to talk about anything you don't feel comfortable with. But don't you dare stop posting Smile

YankNCock · 29/05/2012 22:07

I'm just checking in, haven't read anything, but at MyCat and Sazz, how the hell are ya!?

On weight loss front: I am 33 weeks tomorrow, so far have put on 18.4lbs, was aiming to keep it under 20lbs but not sure how realistic that is with 7 weeks to go?

After that, my goal is to NOT eat like a horse whilst establishing breastfeeding and have all the baby weight gone in 2 weeks like last time (though maybe this time it isn't all water).

Lest I sound like some kind of dodgy sleb, this is all quite reasonable when you have a BMI of 38ish!

I have saved calories today by spectacularly losing my tea in the kitchen bin. DH looked terrified, I think he was having flashbacks to last time with the hyperemesis. I feel fine, no idea what brought that on, other than I caught a whiff of a dirty salad bowl from DH's lunch--something about the manky dressing smell.....

Have I put everyone off their food now? GOOD! Put it down, I can see you!!! Grin

VinegarTits · 29/05/2012 22:11

Grin yank

i keep looking for the like button [spends too much time on FB] Hmm

fivegomadindorset · 29/05/2012 22:16

Bookkeeping and lost library books are keeping me away, first full day tomorrow at work, I have 8 gates to unlock and lock if I get the temptation for chocolate so 16 in all, can't be arsed really. I am on SW though which is working OK for me, not as taxing or as obsessive making as WW.

fivegomadindorset · 29/05/2012 22:17

And Yoo Hoo Helloo Jet.

Sazz you better be weak in July.

BellaVita · 29/05/2012 22:18

Jaq, we fly on Sat.

My mother is panicking about feeding the boys Hmm and what meals they are all going to have. She should know by now that I have everything planned. Apart from that though, the boys are old enough to get their own breakfast and lunch and should they be lazy enough not to bother then that is up to them. I always make them breakfast on school days though. So they have got curry on Sat, steak on Sun, Cajun chicken on Mon and then I have booked them into the pub for tea on Tue eve. There will be an array of pastries/fruit/cereal/yog for breakfast, ham/cheese/bacon/sausages for lunch.

BitchyInTheCorner · 29/05/2012 22:19

I won't post my daily food diet jaq, it would be mean, but will post rule following breaking if that makes sense.

Yank you can't put me off my salad. Grin

it's really nice to have almost everyone back. Hang in there Bella, will soon be holiday. Envy
