Hiya Grin

I'm Bella...

Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

How the feck is everyone?

EEk Yank.. that is exciting! DS spent weeks engaged and came out with a long tube shaped head!

DS is asleep but his obvious symptoms seem a little easier. His breathing is laboured, but it sounds less like each breath might be his last.
His 3 month GF dumped him on Monday night. He thought they were OK, and asked what was wrong..... so she told him to fuck off. Hmm

BitchyInTheCorner · 13/06/2012 08:41

But sometimes it would nice to try boring for a while. Just to see what it is like Grin wouldn't want to keep it might get bored though. HmmGrin

Long night, but happy and good natter with friend.

Lizzy you are safe all the c... have been eaten.

BitchyInTheCorner · 13/06/2012 09:30

Confused I wrote and hit post on that last post at around 2am Hmm no idea why it only just posted Confused

Exciting times Yank. But don't let the doc's talk you into a vbac if you really dont want one.

jaquelinehyde · 13/06/2012 09:39

Mittz glandular fever is bloody horrible my younger brother had it and it knocked him out for ages, poor ds and poor bloody you.

Yank 5 weeks how exciting, I would give birth how ever you want to, dh may not like it but he will be okay with it when he realises it is really what you want and makes you happy.

Bella I smashed my front tooth out when I was younger, I had to have it capped and now it is all Grey as the tooth is dead Blush it looks bloody hideous. Thank god ds only knocked out a baby side tooth.

Weighed in this morning and I have stayed the same which I'm perfectly happy with. It can not happen again as I don't want to get stuck in another rut, so I will be pushing on this week.

BitchyInTheCorner · 13/06/2012 22:26

I think today I have consumed enough calories to see me fine for 3 days. Meal rule following fail, vegetable and fruit fail, caffine fail, water fail. Today I didn't give a flying fuck. Hopefully it won't be a sleep fail.

Glandular fever is nasty. Hopefully ds will fair better then I. Rest, rest, rest and more rest. Sleep truely is a healer.

Hope you are all having better diet days then I.

Going to attempt to hit post and see what happens. Perhaps it will post, perhaps it won't. It's got two chances. Hmm

YankNCock · 14/06/2012 13:46

DS and I made chocolate chip cookies yesterday. We managed to dump half of them on a neighbour, but I won't tell you how many I ate.

Nesting seems to be over, suddenly very tired. Probably because DS keeps getting up at stupid o'clock (between 4:30-5:15 every day). But there's really not anything essential to do, so it's ok.

Midwife says I'm measuring 1 week ahead, BP fine, urine fine. Baby is head down but not engaged, seems that he's most likely popping in and out depending on if I'm lying down or sitting/standing up.

Breakfast: Peanut butter on toast
Lunch: Tuna on jacket potato, grapes and carrot sticks
Dinner: bacon & asparagus risotto (if I can be arsed to make it)

igggi · 14/06/2012 16:54

How did I not know about this?!

BitchyInTheCorner · 14/06/2012 17:23

Afternoon Igggi! How is ds2?

MrsNouveauRichards · 14/06/2012 17:25

Hi Iggi, you have probably been a bit preoccupied :o

Yank, DS did that, every evening it felt like he was about to fall out, but when I woke up in the morning he would be right up in my ribs again.

I have been relying on sugar too much atm, need to break the habit again.

Had a lovely time at the hairdressers this afternoon, have had a sweeping side fringe cut in and I'm not too sure about it. Hairdresser said it takes a bit of training, especially in thick hair like mine, so we will see. Thank god for Kirby grips though!

Lizzylou · 14/06/2012 20:00

Bet you look fab MrsN

Yes, Iggi, how is that gorgeous little boy baby of yours?? How are you feeling?

Mittz, how is DS today? Blimey, talk about get every illness at once, poor lad.

Had a good day, work has changed somewhat in dynamic/team in the last few months and I love it. It is all due to change again when someone comes back. Am a bit angsty about it tbh. Sure all will be OK.

YankNCock · 14/06/2012 20:04

Igggi!!!! I just saw your email today, will respond soon. There was something you wrote that made me think, 'does she not know there is a shiney thread again?' Yay, glad you are here.

MrsNR, I went the side fringe route after years of not having a fringe, very happy with it as it doesn't have to be kept as tidy as a bog standard straight fringe, and can be shoved back with hairgrips when need be.

igggi · 14/06/2012 20:06

We are fine, thank you. He's still at the eating/sleeping/nothing else stage. The days with just him are lovely and peaceful, ones (like tomorrow) with two of them are very hard as no chance of napping with baby, and feel my attention is split in two. Getting myself through it with chocolate, which needs to stop!

igggi · 14/06/2012 20:08

No Yank. I'd no idea! not that anyone noticed I was missing
I need to start dieting, but blooming midwives keep telling me to make sure I'm eating enough (to up milk supply) - they probably didn't mean giant bars of dairy milk though Blush

ThatVikRinA22 · 14/06/2012 21:31

found you all again! i lost you! (cheers bella!)

got some catching up to do again i think....

BellaVita · 14/06/2012 21:39

Mmmmm dairy milk igggi Envy

Are we going to see pics of the hair MrsNR?

Lizzy, I hate that impending feeling Sad

Yes Mittz, how is DS?

Well last night we went out for a fish n chip tea for DS1's birthday - he got to choose. I had a regular though whilst they all had large . Today I have bought the WW mag for some inspiration. My job share colleague (despite an email from our line manager going out about appointments) is still taking the bloody piss and having her appts in my time and I am having to cover Angry she knows they cannot do anything. She only works 4 hours a day and of course we were off last week and today she has a dental appt...

YankNCock · 14/06/2012 21:45

Iggi, I swear we did notice your absence, but just thought you must be quite busy with DS2. Are you super-hungry all the time with BFing? I'm going to try not to do what I did last time. Lost 2 stone in 2 weeks (so much water weight with DS), then gained half a stone on the 'I can eat what I want because I'm breastfeeding' diet. I am determined to harness the power of breastfeeding for weight loss properly this time!

Bella, if she only works 4 hours a day, how can she have any excuse for making her appointments during work hours? How annoying!

Lizzylou · 14/06/2012 21:54

Iggi, like we would exclude you...you have yummy baby pics!!! DS2 is edible

Oh Jaq, Ireland lost, badly. Was all fired up as my best relative EVER was my Irish Grandad. I officially loathe Fernando - I'm wearing blusher Torres.

Bella, at the moment, work is superfab, it will go awry next week

DH has gone out on my bike, am hoping he wrecks it so I can get a more expensive lighter one. My one last weekend was a bit of a drag.

Does noone like footy on this thread apart from me and Jaq???

BellaVita · 14/06/2012 22:02

Lord knows Yank.

I do not like the footy Lizzy.

OP posts:
BitchyInTheCorner · 14/06/2012 22:08

Nope not since pompey got relegated. And ds declare he supported the evil reds united. Told ds to support a proper sport this morning and to stop swearing and that footballers were over payed drama queens Blush

We did notice iggy, but assumed you were busy with ds2. Even ds is charmed with pictures of your Ds2.

Food = mixed
Caffine = migraine trigger so has to go completely, never mind morning the loss of milk in the coffee :(
Exercise = 15min walk post school run.

Right sleep and strong mind altering meds oh joy

How are things going vicar?

igggi · 14/06/2012 23:10

I do not like football but dh does so saw the game tonight, and will no doubt see many more! At least there is Mumsnet to keep me mentally occupied.
Have bought a dieting book from amazon and have left it in the wrapper as I don't think I'm ready to leave the snacking behind yet!

Lizzylou · 15/06/2012 12:23

I love football, especially the Euros.
I love it when (rarely!) we do well and the atmosphere is fab. I like all the flags etc.

I should have been born a bloke I think Grin

MittzbethSalander · 15/06/2012 14:55

I am middling about the footy, wouldn't 'put' it on but can get engaged in a match if DS is watching.

Heyyyyy Iggi Smile It is rather wonderful to see you, I also assumed you were a bit tied up. x

DS is much improved. He managed half a day at school yesterday and is trying to stay all day today. He starts his GCSE subjects next week and is anxious about them. Most ;'symptoms' have gone and he is now mostly just easily tired and gets pain in his joints on exertion.
But MUCH better Smile

You are perfect as you are Lizzy SmileWink

igggi · 15/06/2012 15:33

Glad ds is moving in the righ direction Mittz. Oddly mumsnetting is about one thing I can do, with one hand, while sitting on the sofa breastfeeding for hours!
Lizzy how is your dm now?

Pissing it down here today.

Lizzylou · 15/06/2012 15:45

Grin Blush Thanks Mittz

Iggy, she is fine, very chipper and not doing too much, thanks.

I remember those breastfeeding days, I watched some great films and trashy US TV.

Can't wait for this week to be over, am shattered. Climbing a huge hill/mountainy thing in Yorkshire as part of my training tomorrow, have to be up v early. Still, at least it isn't cycling!

jaquelinehyde · 15/06/2012 17:26

Come on England!!!

Hello ladies diet is officially down the pan at the moment as I am having a crapola week but it will kick back into place soon I'm sure.

How are we all?
