Finished reading Allen Carr last night and havent touched an evil filthy ciggy all day.... no cravings nothing.

This is not bad considering i was on EASILY 20 fags a day! Yes I feel a little something is missing, but it isnt really. I just have more time to spend with my girls and be anle to run after Jess without feeling like im dying.

DH hasnt been great in the old praise department, so im here looknig for well dones from a bunch of strangers!!!

I was a smoking pg woman who everyone (including myself) despises... so really chuffed that i have found something that worked, as willpower alone didnt - however many times i tried when pg, it just didnt happen.

Well done. I stopped smoking just before I got pg with DS, and then started again 18 months later. (Stupid cow) I couldn't quite break the habit, and I felt terribl;e all the time.

I put my last fag out on NYE, and I haven't wanted another. I feel so much better already. I'm not so spotty, and I have more energy. Plus, I am better off.

Good on you!!!!!!!!!! And if you need someone to get you through the cravings (should you have any, which I bet you don't) I'm here!!!

Well done and you can do it! I gave up smoking 8 years ago and have stayed stopped - it can be done. I used Allen Carr and the best concept I got from him was to think of every time you don't have a fag, you're not missing out, you're having something positive - nice, clean, lovely air. I used to breathe it in just as if I was having a fag but breathing in clean air instead. I think he's brilliant.

I've been free for over a year now and it's wonderful, I did use patches for about 3 weeks to stop the physical withdrawel symptoms but mentally I was totally ready, it won't work otherwise. Keep it up (and the dieting - superwoman!! )

thanks girls - im really pleased with myself, i knew i wanted to stop, and just needed to get my head round the book - its fantastic.

In a way i feel lost - sort of what to do now sort of thing but its good - no cravings - not the "I need a fag" that i used to get 10 times a day at least!
