Dubs, you poor thing. Xmas Sad

Just having a cup of tea and a fag then I'm off to my Mum's

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 26/12/2010 11:13

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

Sorry to hear of poorly childers and DH. Makes for a rubbish Christmas after all the build up IME.

Not rubbing it in but we had a fantastic day here. Only one tiny hic-cup.......

DH put the turkey in upside down, which is fine, some folk cook it like that.

However, he didn't know that he had, so I go to carve it and have a mini meltdown that there's NO meat on it.

DH decides to have a go, saying he'll get at the meat and realises what he'd done!

It was the juiciest bird we've ever had and there's loads left over. Yum!

Anyway, disaster over!!! Xmas Grin

We had a fab time all together, watching tv and drinking Fauxleys. Very nice Bitter!

Bubs - no water still!!!! FFS. That is really bad. Is there no emergency number for the water board?

Satan - sorry DS is so poorly, bless him. Well done for only having a 'minor incident' with your mother.

Today is a chilling day here. Hope you all have a nice day too. Xmas Smile

glad you had a lovely day mouse Smile

mine mostly was nice. next year i'm doing the parents bit though - will see everyone for breakfast at my sister's then come home and do presents and snacking on goodies all day here. it's just too long and too formal otherwise and fundamentally a pita.

we need our own traditions, me and boy, not to fit in with everybody else's the whole day.

ds is back to sleep again bless him. seems to be doing a couple of hours awake then flaking out again. i'm therefore just chilling today and had a nap myself earlier as i may need to be on all night so might as well flow with his pace as much as i can.

bubs there has to be an emergency number for waterboard - running water is one of those fundamentals that really have to be dealt with within time frames etc by law.

ds has eaten nothing today and nor have i. starting to feel myself going down with it too but it's all gravy.

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 26/12/2010 13:52

Satan - you have 364 days to tell your mother you are doing it your way next year!! Xmas Grin

You are so run down it's no surprise that you are feeling ill.

Use today to rest and please eat something. Just nibble and stay hydrated. xx

gravy as in groovy - was saying it's all fine.

sorry dee. remembered we got water delivered because ds was only a baby and elderly and disabled got it too. not everyone. there was a really nasty bacteria or something in the water and the whole town was cut off.

hopefully you'll get some rain and can put buckets outside so you have water to pour down the loo. can you get buckets of snow and put them somewhere warm enough to melt in fact?

morning all Smile

big yay for nemo bless him.

dubs i had a lover this year so 2010 is covered. i'm thinking i should try to have at least one a year to keep things ticking over.

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 27/12/2010 08:07

hmm and he spanned the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010 so that was 2 years covered with one guy.

2008 was covered.

2007 was a dry year having been heavily pregnant and then dealing with a baby.

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 27/12/2010 08:54

shall i just chatter to myself about my lack of love life all day?

i could.

historically it was rather more exciting Grin
