charliecat · 30/09/2005 21:17

When i find my calender I will check! My down stairs hasnt been tidyed for days, although i have kept up with the dishes and gutted the kids room bathroom. Front room is on a par with life of grime

Dropinthe · 30/09/2005 21:19

Now listen, girl! I'm not into clean and nor is MLL-I got abit jittery when she first visited but that's me-as long as I can get in the front door, that's all that matters!

Read my lips-DO NOT CLEAN!

charliecat · 30/09/2005 21:22

I wont clean, but I will dig in the heaps of paperwork and find my calendar...I have to clean and tidy before anyone comes in. I live in shit and it would be very if I didnt. i do tidy often but I am the messyest person in the world.

Dropinthe · 30/09/2005 21:28

We are all mums-we all live in shit unless we come from Stepford,ok?

charliecat · 30/09/2005 21:29

Nope most people I know live in tidy houses. Makes me sick. But I have tryed and failed, cant do it!! Must go now, been hogging and dp will want on...going to get of befor ehe asks[halo emotion] Night xxxxxx

charliecat · 01/10/2005 09:43

It it because its colder im crawling into bed earlier and very reluctant to get up?

mummylonglegs · 01/10/2005 14:02

I love this plan of visiting cc, so long as you're up for it of course, cc. I know what you mean about tidying but really truly if you ever come here you'll see that this place is very hard to make tidy even if you try. I do know how you feel though, we're doing dd's birthday party here in about 2 weeks for the first time and I'm so so so ashamed of people seeing this flat. I've made a cleaning plan for all the things I've got to fit into the odd moments of spare time between now and then

I seem to end up with a whole double bed full of clothes to fold and put away every weekend...grrr..I have tryed to be a fold and put awayer person, but its just not mee...so they linger on our bed, on the floor, back on the bed...will sort those out...er nope, back on the floor till I have time at the weekend...LOL

mummylonglegs · 01/10/2005 14:42

Cc, I'm a very unhouseworky type of person. I hate it. I can't be bothered. I don't own an iron and try to buy stuff that doesn't need it, although dp does wander about looking vaguely homeless sometimes as a result but then he can kind of get away with it as an 'impractical academic' sort of look. I do the everyday stuff every day like washing up and keeping things generally tidy. I used to be really tidy, almost obsessively so, when I was single and even living with dp before dd was born. Now the endlessness of it gets to me and I've got much more lazy. Plus nobody notices round here except me what state the place is in. So I only really make the sort of effort I used to make if someone's coming round.

By the way, sorry if I'm a bit in and out on here at the moment, I'm having problems with my monitor again unfortunately. I log on, write some drivel, then the monitor dies, I have to switch off re-boot the computer etc. etc.

p.s. still no fags! That's a week done. Dd's birthday is a week on Monday. That's my landmark now to be fag AND craving-free by then.
