Well, I'm just here for the banter and a chance to talk bollox, and we also do weight loss, WATER drinking (I'm the 'ficcial water monitor, and I have a badge), and heart to hearts..

I am the Mittz(not Mitts), I need to lose about 10lb, but get my head straight in the process..

I am sure one of my lovely companions will be along shortly......

Do you have room for a fat old lady who has lost 27lbs since Feb and needs to lose the same again?

But will she still be as fussy in 5yrs time? A friend has a DD who literally would go weeks of only eating about 2 or 3 different foods, then go completely off those and they would have to find something else that she would eat. She is now 11 and pretty average food wise for that age. They really were so worried about her, but now it just doesn't occur to them hat she used to be fussy iyswim?

Alicetheinvisible · 26/07/2010 21:25

Hi Pranma, hop right in

FiveGoMadInDorset · 26/07/2010 21:32

I like to think she will be OK. Our problem at the moment is that although she likes quite a wide variety of food she does not do food that has been mixed up, eg bolognese, cottage pie etc so she has a lot of pasta, veg and meat/fish. She doesn't do potatoes either, she is better whe I cook with her and she cooks her own tea.

Alicetheinvisible · 26/07/2010 21:35

It is balanced and healthy and if she likes cooking then hopefully she will get more adventurous.

TotalChaos · 26/07/2010 21:35

Hello and welcome pranma

yeah, DS is funny about mixed up food. and veg in general . though I'ld say 2/3 time the problem is other people's reactions.

alice hope your massage brings out mini-alice foal.

Mouseface · 26/07/2010 21:42

Pranma - hello!!

See the thing with DD is that she does eat everything that mum puts infront of her and most other people too because I have taught her to eat what you are given, as was I.

BUT she won't do that at home because she feels that she can refuse to even try a new food because I'm her mum IYSWIM.

She is actually pretty good when I think about what she'll eat. But I just wish she'd eat everything that we eat or at least try it.

It's like a cafe here some nights

funny you should say that SAF - as it is possible that DS may have inherited DH's propensity to have some milk teeth as an adult, apparently it's genetic

Mouseface · 26/07/2010 22:06

SAF - sounds like a good day!!!

SAF - I recognised her which is why I accepted. Maybe she is going through one of our 'mutual friends' lists. She has 14 with me.

Not from the 'Shiney' or this thread IIRC.

How is DS? Crashed out? And, how are you? I was going to fb you to see how you were feeling about your vol course thingy...... when are you there next?
