Well, I'm just here for the banter and a chance to talk bollox, and we also do weight loss, WATER drinking (I'm the 'ficcial water monitor, and I have a badge), and heart to hearts..

I am the Mittz(not Mitts), I need to lose about 10lb, but get my head straight in the process..

I am sure one of my lovely companions will be along shortly......

Hey Mousie

Yes, I felt very posh and thin. Glad to be back though.

Ive just eaten a load of Jaffa cakes and I don't care!

H is a prat

Mouse, they've got an onsite medical officer, so maybe its not such a positive thing after all.

Hey Bitter, good to see you back . You were slim and gawjus before comparing yourself to the rif raf IMO (taking SAF's word for it here as you are a non FBooker!)

Crunchy, i reckon it is a good thing. No reason why you would not pass?

I have bought a new laptop for my work venture. Tis red and shiny and a thing of beauty . Business account shows -£650 so far

Mouseface · 30/07/2010 19:50

Crunchy - doesn't matter if they are onsite. It's a move forward! Go girl.

Crispy - at a minus biz account already! And at your shiny new red laptop.

Crispy, none that would stop me, I hope. Ah pretty laptops are what life is all about

Thanks mouse, at least they haven't turned me down yet. Each stage is one step closer.

ID, I'm ok. H has changed attitude since I burst his bubble last night. Is being cold and distant. And if that's how this is going we don't stand a snowball's chance in hell of getting through this. Usually once he's withdrawn he'll be cold for a few weeks.

So much for him facing up to the consequences of his actions (and to out this in context I really haven't been emotional about all this since last weekend, so it's not that I'm unbearable to be around)

Now I've got takeaway envy too!

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 30/07/2010 19:58

Hello saf

CrispyTheCrisp · 30/07/2010 19:59

Passes vodka coffee to double

Am supping on white wine here. Had to shred earlier to 'earn' it though

DH still loading stuff on laptop ( iam grateful honest). I am tip tapping away on my crappy second hand tablet pc

Hi SAF

CrispyTheCrisp · 30/07/2010 20:02

Crunchy - it will be the first time in 37 years on the planet that i will have owned my own laptop. Had to make sure it was purty

Glad medical should be a breeze. I always have probs with my blood pressure and 'white coat syndrome' at these things . So sorry that it sounds like your holiday will start from a crappy place

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/07/2010 20:03

Evening all

Have a cold beer and two sleeping children.

crispy - at shiny red plaything. What's the business venture, if you don't mind me asking?

Slim? ish. Gorgeous?

Saf - Hey you. How have you managed two weeks without my waffle?

Weigh in on Monday - I'm hoping I may have lost a bit. I was really good while we were away, cooked every night instead of having us dine out on junk. And I have been dancing with DS and swimming all week.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 30/07/2010 20:06

Enjoy it crispy

Ah well if nothing else I intend to spend the next two weeks gorging on cheese, bread and wine. So by the time I come back I may have a few new health issues!

. Yes, you

Very of your healthy hols though. I managed to put on 9lbs in 2 weeks on mine

Job is M&A consulting stuff - have had a offer of some work which will be v interesting and may lead to more

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 30/07/2010 20:09

I have an unpleasant red that a friend bought me. The rest of the bottle will have to be used in food. It's vile.

Bitter how were you good?! I need tips! I'm rubbish on holiday, find it impossible to resist anything.

CrispyTheCrisp · 30/07/2010 20:12

Crunchy - the bread, wine and cheese got the better of me too

I even took my running stuff with me

However, since being back i have been v good and lost 7 of the 9 pesky pounds so not all is lost......

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 30/07/2010 20:15

I'm doomed. I'm not even going to try to pretend I'm going to exercise . I did have visions of jogging up and down the seafront just after dawn, but realistically It is not going to happen!

I'll have to be good when I get home.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/07/2010 20:15

UNO, not sure of tips really.

It was a self catering jobby so instead of eating out (all junk on offer) we went and did a supermarket shop on the first day. So I cooked an evening meal (only quick things, think Salmon and cous cous or similar) and then went out for dessert.

I don't do sweet things, so the DC were happy with their ice cream or whatever and didn't feel they were missing out on pizza or fish and chips and I didn't eat badly.

I did figure that swimming and dancing for a couple of hours a day earned me a drink in the evening though.

Mittz · 30/07/2010 20:16

Hi all

I am child free and wet through as I cycled in the rain, but it was lovely and refreshing. Now I am going to have a salad and something devilishly divine for pud and watch a film and paint.

Hey Bitter.. glad to see you back all chirpy and all .

Crunch have been there and it is wearing. Thinking of you x

You are inspiring me to be brave Crispy.. may I FB you about the job thing?
