I am the Mittz(not Mitts), I need to lose about 10lb, but get my head straight in the process..

Kitchen looks like it is going well, DD and i have just had an early lunch - was starving! Had cheese and cucumber sandwich (which i am slightly addicted to atm) but added some smoked ham to it which was nice as well, then DD and i had half a bag of crisps each. thinking about a Petite filous....

I need to tidy up DS' room and playroom, do lunch (hopefully I won't get food poisoning from a low fat ready meal that ran out yesterday ) then go into town, as there's good stuff on at the museum - a kids batik craft activity, and meeting customs sniffer dogs. just have to turf out the local kids now

have done a fur coat and no knickers version of tidy up (the clutter, not me being undergarmentless). will have to do a bin bag and charity shop tidy later. now just need to get lunch and hoik DS off the Wii to go out. Apparently he might be "bored" if we go out. Poor love eh, I am an evil mother

oh and I am cross with Apple, for the poor cross platform (linux) compatibility with newer ipods. I managed to trash my mum's ipod by trying to synch it with the Music Manager on my netbook, so it didn't recognise the music files as music. Am not in my stepdad's good books as he had to fix it . Not sufficiently cross though to boycott apple - I have a lovely "new" toy, a 2nd hand 2nd gen ipod nano that syncs beautifully with our ancient imac

TC im none the wiser r.e my thyroid, results keep coming back borderline and they reckon my symptoms are down to stress so are treating me for that now instead

Managed to get a nap at lunchtime when DH came home for lunch. Dinner tonight will be freezer surprise.

SAF - DD has tidied the dining room up, moved all of her school stuff AND made me and MrMouse chocolate covered strawberries for after dinner!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I lost 1lb today. Only another 1 to go to get to that elusive 1st stone.

Had special K for breakfast this morning and a chicken breast with chips at lunch time(went out for a pub lunch with my parent and daughters)

Will have to be really good next week. Got my party tonight. Went to Costco with my dad and got a huge birthday cake, a massive carrot cake, 20 huge cupcakes, a couple of extra large pizzas and some alcohol. Also got my daughter's party on Sunday.

Bula - that is a lot of cake, sounds like my kind of party! Well done on 1lb off

Looks like everything won't be done by the weekend. Mostly due to stuff drying in time really. Also we seem to have got a faulty shower so needs a bit more work so this baby needs to stay put for as long as possible!

Going to have a rummage in the freezer to see what we can have for dinner, then up to the horses.
