Morning all!

Finally a decent night's sleep last night after the past 2 nights have seen me lying awake for hours.

And a whole heap of stomach cramps which is my sure fire sign that today or tomorrow, I will finally get my period! Before I go away which is lovely (first time I think I've EVER been happy about it!)

Today's plan includes not an awful lot. Might play on the Sims later. One of my mates is dropping off a DVD for me to give to another mate, as they've had a HUGE falling out, so I'm a bit stuck in the middle and keeping myself to myself. Still seeing both of them just not together!

Later I think I'm going to write a camping checklist for myself because if I don't I WILL forget something!

Alicetheinvisible · 17/07/2010 11:13

SAF - I have had bouts of it for about 2weeks, but the last week it has got more and more often. Also got the slight tummy upset, morning sickness back again and grumpyness. I am ready to have the baby, but my house isn't! If i could have another week or even 4 days everything will be a lot less stressful.

Alice it could be that you're getting weak contractions all day but you're only noticing them in bed. Every contraction you have now means a stronger muscle for the big day.

I'd don't call him, it'll only encourage him. I think you've made your feelings clear.

I'm going out tonight too

Still working ID Whilst having fantasies about an interesting and varied life lol!

Blimey.. I can't imagine talking to my folks about another feller. I am still very tempted by having a completely secret life whilst appearing to be quiet, compliant Mittz. Just need a feller to agree he he!

I am not sure where I am going out later. Was surprised friend suggested going out for a drink but we shall see. Any excuse to get remotely dolled up is good for me.

I could do with a couple of duvets days whilst the good fairy does my housework for me as once I have finished work I have got to play house work catch up. Joy of Joys.

Mouseface · 17/07/2010 16:19

Shiney, I am going to be clingy and needy now, I am missing you on this thread.

OP posts:
Mittz · 17/07/2010 16:31

People!! Real Shiney people

Sorry for small person illing shiney. I hate vomit. Usually deal with it with a wet flannel over my nose which I am sure sends a message to my DC's but unless they want to then clear up after me tis the only way it can be done.

Not into biccies Bella.. have you got any cake? What has the sewing machine done?

BitOfFun · 17/07/2010 16:31

Oh dear Shiney- that is still no excuse for ignoring your phone, you scoffing bastard!

Mittz · 17/07/2010 16:33

Go on Mouse, make me faint!

How are you lady? And BabyMouse?

BitOfFun · 17/07/2010 16:34

Oh, and I have been AWOL today (apart from some erudite contributions about the word cunt first thing this morning...) because I've been attending multiple children's parties. Exhausted now.

No cake unfortunately Mittz . I could eat a piece of viccy sponge with fresh cream and jam right this minute.

The sewing machine.. where do I begin? The bobbin keeps flying of the bobbin holder , the thread underneath keeps getting jammed and then the whole thing just won't go anywhere at all when I press the pedal > Do you know anything about them Mittz? I must have read the manual a dozen times this afternoon. I have used the machine plenty of times before.

I am losing the will to live now.

OP posts:
Mittz · 17/07/2010 16:47

Only thing I can think is that for some reason the thread is loose so the tension isn't keeping the bobbin in place Bella. can't I can't say I have a vast knowledge.

jetcat · 17/07/2010 16:51

afternoon all, hope all is well

sorry for not catching up properly, i can never remember everything

Have a lovely holiday Lizzy - is it France you are going to? Good luck with wittling down those cases

Alice, hope you are ok and resting plenty.

Shiney - well hello there Like Bella, i am missing you too. Hope little one is feeling a bit better, cleaning sick is just gross

Are you all partied out now then Bof? Rather you than me

Bella - no idea about sewing machines, i hope you manage to get it sorted. What you making?

I have just made some rather lovely Jamie Oliver scones, doubled the batch up so as to freeze them - but had to have one straight out of the oven - gorgeous Am feeling very domesticated

bellavita · 17/07/2010 16:51

Thanks Mittz. Where is DEM? She sews a lot doesn't she.. In fact I have sent two txts to her - one on the 15th and the other today to see how she is - but no reply.

Hi jet . Not making anything as such, just mending. DS1's school trousers. I have reached the end of my tether with them and him. He insists on wearing them half way down his backside, so one pair - the seam has come undone between the bottom of the zip to just underneath the crotch (I have repaired these 5 times now) and the other pair are in danger of the whole backside being split open down the seam. I am not happy with him at the moment as these are £11 a pair and I cannot afford to keep replacing them just because he won't wear them properly. The trousers were new at Easter.

OP posts:
jetcat · 17/07/2010 16:59

oh you have my sympathies Junior can wreck a pair of trousers in three weeks She will not pull them up if they start to fall down a little (elasticated waist) so the bottom hem drags along the floor. After three weeks, it is all tattered and torn. Luckily though, she only wears basic asda tracksuit bottoms (£3 a pair) as we cant find any other elasticated ones to fit her. Still bloomin annoying though - i dont envy you at £11 a pair

Mouseface · 17/07/2010 17:00

I'm not three bad thanks Mittz

I actually managed a full night of sleep without floor walking and wondering what to do with myself at stupid o'clock.

And DS was only up once!

Your tea clearly works wonders.

Off to feed the ducks soon and avoid the new fecking brides having photo's at the castle. God I'm a misery arse.

jetcat · 17/07/2010 17:04

glad you got some sleep mouse Have fun at the castle.

I havent seen DEM either, hope she is ok.
