Oh my Goodness! I just took DD upstairs to change her. Wondered who DS was talking to and came downstairs to find him with my credit card in his hand trying to order a micro scooter.

He had paused the advert so he could follow the numbers.

He's 5!

bellavita · 16/07/2010 17:27

Am glad it is sorted Gigi.

Oh Bitter, what are you going to do was there one in a smaller size? I would be pleased and annoyed all rolled into one.

OP posts:
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/07/2010 17:28

It was literally the last one Bella. I'll just have to belt it in a bit and make do, I haven't got the talent time to take it in.

bellavita · 16/07/2010 17:29

Gotta hand it to him Bitter . At least he didn't pester you to do it...

BitOfFun · 16/07/2010 17:33

Hello my darlings! Bof is back- and, er, just the same weight as ever...

LollipopViolet · 16/07/2010 17:34

Bitter, that's one way of avoiding you saying no anyway! Was it one of those scooters with a battery type things or am I confused?

National Express have still not rung me back Humph.

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 17:34

Glad you got it all sorted GiGi & hooray for the caravan where's your first stop?

Bitter that is funny, not for you I know, but good iginitive on his part Was the sales advisor actually taking the details?

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 17:35

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF

Gigantaur · 16/07/2010 17:37

oh Bitter that just made me lol.
he's a bright lad thats for sure.

No idea where i'll go first. probably somewhere local at first cos i need to get used to towing it. it is properly brick shittingly scarey at first.

but once im used to it, your all in trouble

Alicetheinvisible · 16/07/2010 17:38

Bitter DD keeps on at me to order stuff on the computer - she is 2! I blame Peppa Bloody Pig and their ordering of a toy cupboard myself.

DH asked me last night if i wanted any Agent Provocateur post baby underwear. Would i? Have ordered a fuschia pink Nursing bra that actually was in the sale with something silly like 70% off!

Bella - i saw a teeny baby the other day 5lbs 40z i think? You forget that babies come in that size.

Been really restless this afternoon, can't concentrate on anything, although i have booked a table at the turkish restaurant for tomorrow evening. My dad and his GF are coming to dinner with us, and in the afternoon i am child free to go mooching round some shops with a friend and get a hot choc and cake afterwards - heaven!

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 17:40

GiGi

Uh-oh Alice you know what will happen now you've booked the table & said out loud about your child free afternoon don't you....

Agent Provocateur Breastfeeding bras? Now that is decadence! How fab

Gigi, you can get caravans renovated, a friend of mine bought one and got it done up really cheaply. They go away every weekend now. Loads of school run Moms have caravans, a few were off today to France. The kids will love it.

Bitter, your boy is a smart one, blimey!

Bitter - how about you ring Browns of York (dept store) - they stock Phase Eight and they just might have a smaller size on the shop floor that you could pay for over the phone and get posted to you - failing that I could always pick it up for you and post it on 01904 611166. You could send the bigger size back then.

BoF - yay!

Gigantaur · 16/07/2010 17:46

Ooh renovations huh?
ponders.

It's actually not in bad shape. Its a bit dated but its pretty clean and tidy.

I did threaten Dp with some of that sticky plastic stuff you see in DIY stores, he gave me the "if you do im off" look.

OOh you can all come and stay in my caravan. it will be fabbo.

i realise i now sound a bit like the bird from the good life, i shall calm down soon i promise.

LollipopViolet · 16/07/2010 17:52

Hahaha, I doubt I'll behave! Someone will offer me cider and it'll all go wrong from there!

Just spoken to my mate and we're OK for coaches to V! It's not getting on/off them that's the issue, it's whether her wheelchair will fit in the bottom! So we SHOULD be OK!

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 17:58

I live practically a stones throw from V yet I've never been, daft really! DH goes every year but never sees a thing as he usually gets lumped with crowd control

LollipopViolet · 16/07/2010 18:03

We live fairly close but not close enough for a parent to give us a lift and neither of us drive so we have to get a train to Stafford then the shuttle service to the site! I'm doing Sonisphere in 2 weeks so at least I'll have some experience of crowds etc. Wheelchair is gonna be a pain to push over that ground though! Must build up my muscles!

BitOfFun · 16/07/2010 18:05

I've been once with DP as guests of Radiohead, because he's mates with the lighting director for their shows. VIP portaloos are still portaloos though.

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 18:11

at VIP portaloos still being portaloos, did they smell any better?

Mittz · 16/07/2010 18:16

I have festival envy.. apparently you can work the festivals, get in free.... hmm...

BitOfFun · 16/07/2010 18:18

Let's just say that the rich may think their shit don't stink...

jetcat · 16/07/2010 18:55

wow bitter - he sounds like he has his head screwed on

A caravan gigi I would love to do thatm but i dont think i would ever manage to tow one Have fun - have you checked out the caravan channel on sky like i have Glad your bank troubles are sorted!

bella - it was delicious Both girls (and me) had seconds, i added some cherry tomatoes at the last minute, and it is definitely something we will have again. I only added a tiny bit of the spice mix (1 tbsp to 2 chicken breasts) and i think that was quite hot enough for me
