Am still playing with coi, but like the quidea

Jaquelinehyde · 16/07/2010 20:37

Shiney and Jet back YAY

Welcome Mini, I am Jaq and I am very, very fat. I have at least 10 stone to lose and could easily lose 16 stone and still not be underweight! I re-started last week and lost 8 and a half pounds with slimming world. The Shiney lot are great, enjoy!

Jet - I haven't had any adverse reactions to the chicken balls (thank God) but then I had only eaten fruit and a ww yogurt all day prior to that so that probably helped. I wont be doing it again though as I don't want to tempt fate.

Today I slipped up and wolfed a kitkat down in the kitchen - in secret, hiding the wrapper, I didn't even taste it I ate it that quick. Deep breath and start again straight away though.

Thank you for all the kind words about my Dad, to be honest with you I am more worried about the stress my parents are under more than any of the physical difficulties they have. 5 years is a long time and anything could happen!

Crunchie --- What about doughnuts with apple in them YUCK YUCK YUCK!!

Mittz · 16/07/2010 20:39

Hmm..has potential Mini..^'My! What a magnificent quock'> has a certian ring to it

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 16/07/2010 20:39

Jac, don't get me started! Wrong and evil and bad. Terrible things. What a waste of calories.

Mittz · 16/07/2010 20:40

certian? Bit like a certain Martian ?

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 20:40

Evening all, I'm tucked up in bed with my iPhone, I think MrNorma is beginning to feel sidelined despite all the bonking of late

Welcome Mini, glad you've met our faithful mascot he's never fails to bring s smile!

LollipopViolet · 16/07/2010 20:42

Shiney, yes I do I came on here a couple of years ago for some perspectives on a situation I was having at home, found everyone to be super nice and friendly so never left! Tend to steer clear of all parenting bits and stick to chat, these threads and a few others!

All being well though, by next July, after I graduate, I should be moving to Manchester with one of my mates to go and work in the film/tv industry

My third year friends graduated today, I shall miss them dearly cos it's my turn next!!!

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 20:45

Someone mention doughnuts? Mmmm nom, nom, nom can't have them though as they're about a days worth of points

Alicetheinvisible · 16/07/2010 20:48

Hi Mini

I like doughnuts of all sorts - just love cake really - and i love custard ones

Well done Jaq, keep at it.

My house smells of a heady mix of garlic mayo and paint fumes....

Lizzylou · 16/07/2010 20:55

I only like those doughnuts you get at fairs and on Blackpool PLeasure beach, 6 for a £1 it used to be, all warm and covered in sugar...hmmm
Otherwise, cake, but only so I can eat the icing.

Welcome Mini [smile)

Jaq, good going, a slip up doesn't write off the whole day, you're doing fab. Hope your parents are OK, they have an awful lot on.

Norma, lots of sex you say? Is that why you are losing more weight??? May have to accost DH as a last resort (on top for extra exercise points, holding in stomach a la Gigi).

Been to gym, blah blah blah
Now have some vino, cos it's all about balance

Jaquelinehyde · 16/07/2010 20:59

Ooh LV I begin the final year of my degree in September too. What are you studying? We can whinge, moan and stress about dissertations together!

TrillianAstra · 16/07/2010 20:59

Hi all, we are on the motorway so I am entertaining us with a bit of mumsnet. Do let us know if there are any entertaining threads, off to look at this embarrassing moments thing that bog mentioned.

Alicetheinvisible · 16/07/2010 21:00

Jac, studying Media Production. Basically, I make films I want to be an editor when I grow up graduate We don't have to do a proper dissertation, but about 6,000 words on one of our final year films I think. Not entirely sure but someone will clue us in when we go back I'm sure!

I'm looking at graze boxes, and thinking it'll be easier to just go to the healthfood shop.

jetcat · 16/07/2010 21:05

hi jaq A kit kat's not a slip up, thats a treat I forgot to say earlier, well done on the great loss last week, thats fab

I am with lizzy re the doughnuts - you cant beat the little ones baked fresh at fun fairs - all coated in sugar

hi mini and crunch, i used to be a regular, but been a bit lacking lately

Ok, i wasnt going to mention it on here (as feel a bit crap) but, massive thanks to Hells for the fab cook books i picked up today - i know she is on hols, but just in case she checks in. I truly do not deserve such lovely friends

Lizzylou · 16/07/2010 21:09

Aww Jet, Hells is fab isn't she? So are you and you are doing brilliantly Glad dinner was nice.

LV, that sounds very glam, Media Production, making films. It was all Hitler and Cistercian monks with me. Prob why I have never visited a VIP Portaloo

Mittz · 16/07/2010 21:22

Caesarian Monks..? Well, that's what I read, wondering what they were

Hi jet, I agree about the fair doughnuts too, they are doughnut perfection

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 16/07/2010 21:33

Instructions, your ex sounds like a gobshite and a wank monkey, an impressive combination of knobberey. Sorry you're having to put up with his crap.

TotalChaos · 16/07/2010 21:45
