Ok Bella, I have just eaten a bowl of bran flakes & got some chinese chicken drumsticks out the freezer to defrost for dinner today so it's a good start to being back on the wagin. Weigh in tomorrow will be awful though

Alicetheinvisible · 20/07/2010 08:59

Plumber will be here late morning thank god.

Would happily have no water for a week if it could take away all Mittz and her Ds's problems

Eating a packet of chocolate bourbons.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 20/07/2010 09:11

Alice glad the plumber's coming.

I'm feeling really nauseous this morning. Maybe that'll help my weight. Might hop on the wii fit in a bit.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 20/07/2010 09:14

Eeew Bourbouns are rank.

Morning all,

Mittz, so sorry to hear about your DS. I agree with the others it's probably best to get the police involved.

Alice I freaked about 3 days without a shower so can only imagine how you are feeling.

My parents are babysitting tonight so DH and I can both work. I have a chorizo and chickpea casserole in the slow cooker and about a million things to do.

Nag me if you see me about too much please. Though I am going to have a cup of tea before I get started.

jetcat · 20/07/2010 09:29

Mittz Thats awful - your poor DS. Sending lots of love to both of you

Fingers cross the plumber can work his magic Alice, and give that fly a swat from me - i hate the little feckers

Norma - stick with it, you can do it Weigh in might not be as bad as you think! And even if it is, we are all allowed a little slip up or a hundred two

Now, someone tell me to bugger off and get on the treadmill - its sooo hot that its really hard work

bellavita · 20/07/2010 09:31

I love bran flakes Norma and bourbons Bitter

Norma, no point in worrying about your weigh in, what will be will be. What are you having with the chicken?

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 20/07/2010 09:31

Hey Jet - get on that treadmill!!!

MumAlwaysKnows · 20/07/2010 09:53

morning ladies!

how are we all this morning?

bellavita · 20/07/2010 10:07

Is that you Mac?

OP posts:
NormaSknockers · 20/07/2010 10:09

Good point Jet, now bugger off & get on the treadmill

Bella I'm thinking mash potato & corn on the cob, not ideal I know as quite carby

bellavita · 20/07/2010 10:12

Can you just do some salad for you instead? or do you have any green beans in the freezer -

so either chicken and salad

or

chicken, green beans and corn?

OP posts:
MumAlwaysKnows · 20/07/2010 10:17

make sure you get the correct grade oil when you pop into town bella

NormaSknockers · 20/07/2010 10:19

Just a look in the fridge & there's enough in there for me to make myself a salad so yes I'll do that, quite often I eat the chicken & feel full after just that anyway

bellavita · 20/07/2010 10:19

Awww your back!!

You have been missed. I had a little look on Sunday, but did not have a great deal of time. However, DS2 and I need to go back in ether next Thur/Fri as he has ordered some stuff from the Warhammer shop which will arrive next week, so I will make a purchase then and also get some proper sized bobbins.

OP posts:
jetcat · 20/07/2010 10:22

Mum - too cryptic for me

Did my 30 mins treadmill - all i can manage in this heat Very fast walk, sweat literally pouring off me (tmi ) so have had a quick shower so i dont have to go back to nursery stinking

Salad and green beans would be lovely with chicken norma We are having spag bol tonight - as i actually remembered to take the mince out of the freezer

Bella - we had 'Bells so chicken' last night - which is Mini's translation for Bella's El Paso chicken

MumAlwaysKnows · 20/07/2010 10:22

Just make sure it is the correct size for your machine - they all take different sizes. my bobbins are smaller then mum's for eg. if persists try chaning thread. I use gutamen - expensive but good quality. plus they do an extra extra strong version for coat buttons and croch seams.

ds has just discovered he can do the splits. His shorts are all appearing in the washing with extra ventilation

jetcat · 20/07/2010 10:25

aha - have sussed it now mum (i think!)

NormaSknockers · 20/07/2010 10:26

MAK - give us a clue

MumAlwaysKnows · 20/07/2010 10:27

spelling tends to give it away jet

NormaSknockers · 20/07/2010 10:27

I'm not sure if I'm right in thinking you are who I think you are

bellavita · 20/07/2010 10:27

MAK - DS1's have extra ventilation in that area because in insists on wearing them halfway down his backside. Hence the need for the machine. I hand stitched them again on Sunday and they are back with the split in again after wearing them yesterday.

OP posts:
Alicetheinvisible · 20/07/2010 10:28

Nope, still not got it, thought i had but no

NormaSknockers · 20/07/2010 10:29

Bella he's getting in practice for wearing his jeans half way down his loegs with his boxers on show - why on Earth do boys do that?

so the girls grab their butts as they hoik up the trousers cos they are sick of looking at the boys pants. boy gets girl.

I would recommend hunting out the button cotton that gutamen do, though it is likely that you will then need to patch it as the material will be weaker then the thread. Take the next couple of pairs of trousers out of his pocket money. he'll soon stop when he realises how much it costs. Charge him for repairs too.
