Yoohoo!

Hello Shiney. Posting more might make you feel better. at eggs and snails though.

At 14 I was doing cross-stitch and watching Horizon.

Woop! for Eleanor's wedding! Lovely dress Gigi. I've got an evening reception on the 8th to go to and haven't even looked in the shops yet.

Lollipop - Batiste dry shampoo. You spray in on your hair, it soaks up grease and you just comb it out. Brilliant for festivals. Take lots of bottled water too.

Been out for dinner today, but have done well at biscuit avoidance.

Not expecting a loss tomorrow, after that and the Pizza Express day, but fingers crossed for weigh-in anyway.

Off up in a mo, DH is back from his trip.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/07/2010 23:28

Hello.

Saf, glad you are not broken. Friday was fun.

I am still not eating. Bloody hormones.

I sat down to roast chicken and think I ate less than the DC.

Had a very nice evening with DH watching The Wire and talking. He is a lovely man when he is himself. I heart him.

Saf, I heart you too. I've not even had a drink.

I'm in a funny mood. I heart all of you.

jetcat · 19/07/2010 07:42

oh, i missed all the chat last night - shiney, you crack me up with your comments re the whinging one (and no, thats not you, tis ab ) Glad your purse turned up!

bitter - am so glad you had a nice evening with your DH

Bof - i am not sure i am ready for a contraception thread for teenagers yet Mine is so far so not interested in boys, i am training her to stay that way! She is still of the opinion that boys are just yuk However, as she is so easily led, we have had 'the talk' many many times, and as she is now on the pill, i have explained where the condoms are. Havent mastered the courage to get the banana out yet and show her how to actually use it though

Morning

Hey Jet

37 weeks today!!!!!

I weighed myself yesterday (stupid thing to do) i have put on nearly 3stone I may be in denial, but i don't think i look like i have put of 3 stone

Off to playgroup with our Peppa Pig cupcakes i made yesterday, good luck weighing in everyone

jetcat · 19/07/2010 09:59

morning Alice - 37 weeks, congratulations 3 stone is nothing to put on during pregnancy, you are doing really well!

I finally bit the bullet today and bought a new battery for my scales so i could stop making excuses and weigh myself I know my scales have always been different to when i was getting weighed with the nurse (as in, am heavier at home), so was expecting to be more. Plus, having not eaten properly for weeks, and (embarrissingly) running out of thyroid tablets for 4 weeks and not managing to get new ones, i knew that i had put weight on.

Still, not as much as i thought, so still have a little hope Today is day 1. Have done 30 mins on the treadmill, as havent been on that in ages, and will shred later. Next weigh in next monday - will see how that goes

Haven't caught up yet so bear with me

Morning, I am in a hormonal grump today. I have definitely avoided camping while dealing with a period but aaaargh I feel rotten! Had cramps all last night and this morning, and just feel fed up and annoyed. This would've ruined my weekend away so sort of glad to get it over with but wish I felt happier!

On the plus side, the spa we're going to emailed me back saying they have FULL wheelchair access, so I'm going to try and convince my other mate to come with us, even if it means me paying for her! That'll definitely be happening next week before Thursday lol I will need it!

Right, going to catch up with the thread now and chill out, sorry for tmi moment above but needed a moan!

Mouseface · 19/07/2010 10:49

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

Alice - yay for 37 weeks. 3 stone is nothing. I put 3.10 on with DS. Hope you're ok and not too tired.

LV - which spa are you going to? In Manchester? I used to live in South Manchester. Sorry you're hormonal too. Got my period at 2am. Grrrrr. Why couldn't it arrive at 9am? 2am is just rude.

SAF - hello gorgeous. Well done on the loss!

Jet - keep going! Day 1 will soon be day 10, 11 and 12!!! You can do it and we will all support you.

Well, today I am 9st 8lb. So, going to be good and try to drop 2lb this week. It's MrMouses birthday on Sunday and our wedding anniversary the Thursday after, so I'd really like to look slimmer in this year's photo's.

Vain? Moi? You bet your ass I am!!

Plus, DD has her leavers service this Thursday and MIL & SIL are here Weds/Thurs so I'm bound to drop a pound or too stressing before they arrive.

I may need to get my neighbour to sort my wireless issues out so I can sneak onto here for a moan.

Mittz - where are you? How was your night out?

Double - you ok? X issues again?

Bitter - sorry your dinner went the same way as mine. Have you eaten today? Maybe a piece of toast....

LollipopViolet · 19/07/2010 11:14

Mouse, it's the Sienna spa at the Radisson Edwardian hotel. I'd love to stay there for my birthday weekend but they're all booked So, I'll go to their spa, stay in another hotel. Just trying to find a cheap one (we need 1 accessible room and most places make us have two rooms for 3 of us) on a Saturday night! Ha!

2am? That IS rude. At least mine had the decency to turn up yesterday morning.

Mouseface · 19/07/2010 11:29

LV - that's rubbish re the 2 rooms thing but IIRC, it's yet another H&S issue for insurance and fire purposes.

Hmm, the Radisson, is it near Piccadilly Gardens? Will have a think as to where I have stayed..... The Malmaison is very nice but not when you are on a budget.

How about a Premier Inn/Jurys Inn or alike? If you are just sleeping there, would it matter? They do weekend deals quite often?

try this site

LollipopViolet · 19/07/2010 11:33

If you can name us nice places for breakfast and other meals, I will HAPPILY do room only!

Me and my mate stayed at a Premier Inn when we went to Dancing on Ice in London and loved it. We went on a Tuesday night so it was £97 for the two of us including breakfast, but room only was about £76. Will have a look now actually, there is a Premier Inn in the city centre, and we know the accessible rooms are OK there.

SAF - did a bit of sleeping. DS had me up 3 times and then a trip to the loo when my period arrived but feel much better now it's here.

Double - nope. I couldn't shag him all day. You fill your boots though!

Trills - you are so clever. I wish I was?/were? clever like you. See?
