Jaq - sorry about the bad news about your dad - hope that the doc was being overly pessimistic.

well done on the weight loss. sweet and sour not a bad choice for splurge food - tends to be quite low fat, just high in sugar.....

Mousey - I'm free around lunchtime tomorrow, I will fb my mobile number, so you can text me if you feel like a chat.

hello everyone else, hope all is OK.

Morning all
Well after telling Jaq to rein it in last night DH and I watched The Silence in bed eating truffles (that we'd bought for DS2's Teaching assistant)
Ooops.

Hope all are well, manic here this morning.

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 07:58

Morning all

I've also got a brand new tea cosy with TWC on it

Just off to do the nursery run then off for a walk with DS to clear the cob webs so I shall catch up when I get back

DreamsInBinary · 16/07/2010 07:59

It was good, wasn't it, LL?

I was terribly tense for the whole hour.

Morning all Tea? Coffee? Hot choc and croissant?

DreamsInBinary · 16/07/2010 08:00

Your trolley has shamed my little offerings, Norma! I was hoping to give you a lie-in!!

Lizzylou · 16/07/2010 08:06

Hi Norma!

DIB it was v good, I am a bit smitten with Douglas, was trying to hide it whilst lying next to DH, but phwoaar, he has got better with age.
I think I like him more than Rupert Penry JOnes now, Dougie looks dirtier.

Sorry, am overcome with lust on a Friday morning.

Alicetheinvisible · 16/07/2010 08:15

Lizzy - how decadent truffles in bed

Just drinking pepsi and crushed ice i know it is vile to drink such things at this time in the morning, but when i woke up it was all i wanted!

Ended up going to the MW yesterday afternoon after the last couple of nights of cramps etc. She seems to think this baby has a good chance of making an appearance sometime within the next 10 days It is not allowed out yet, my sitting room currently looks like one that belongs to one of the hoarders on Life of Grime. Doesn't usually look like that i want to add, but polish neighbour is decorating our dining room (which had become something of a dumping ground) and everything has had to fit into the sitting room. He wasn't meant to start til this evening, but he popped round just before 5pm yesterday asking if he could start in an hour. Had to serve dinner to myself, DD, my friend and her 2 boys and clear the dining room in an hour. My friend is a star and took control.

Mittz · 16/07/2010 08:23

I am always over come with lust, at any time of day, I am a perimenopausal, hormonal Kracken lol!!
Quick snogs and hugs, still farking busy as heck. Must love you and leave you today.. Mwah mwah mwah....

TrillianAstra · 16/07/2010 08:40

Morning. I am feeling like Bella this morning as I have iced a cake and it is only 8.30. I expect hers would be more beautiful though. It is this one.

Trills, is there no way you could afford to buy the flat? You'd prob already thought of that and have obviously rejected it, sorry. That cake looks fab, how very Bellaesque you are this morning

Double, don't stress, you will be magnificent am sure.

SAF, rejecting choc bread? Mine would wolf it down.

So boys despatched, after brief panic when I realised we'd left their waterproofs at the Barbers yesterday, oops. Drove to sports centre and got DS1 booked into holiday football club and then took DS2 to his last day ever at preschool. Then cried on the way home after picking up waterproofs. No babies anymore.

Very yummy Trils, nom, nom, nom! I was just thinking what Lizzy said, could you afford to buy the flat you're in or are you looking to eventually buy something different?

Awww Lizzy DD's only til the 30th left in nursery before she has a break before starting big school, it must feel even stranger when it's your youngest

NormaSknockers · 16/07/2010 09:44

Alice, I drink Pepsi most mornings & I'm not pregnant

TrillianAstra · 16/07/2010 09:54

He already offered us the flat Lizzy, but no-one would give us a mortgage at the moment as we have no deposit, plus I'm not sure I would want it - if I were buying somewhere I would want a garden.

Lizzylou · 16/07/2010 09:57

Ah, I see Trills.
Flats can be tricky to sell on as well (though perhaps not in a Uni town so much).

Thanks for the sympathy re: Ds2, just feels like DS2's baby/toddler stage passed so quickly. He is so ready for school (whether or not they are ready for him is another matter) though. Got to go and buy his polo shirts and sweatshirts this afternoon.

Waaah.

TrillianAstra · 16/07/2010 09:58

Hmmm that's true Trills, a garden would be nice especially if you're going to buying somewhere.

Lizzy the uniforms are so teeny aren't they? DDs are size 3-4 & they look so small!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 16/07/2010 10:07

Morning all.
