BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/07/2010 11:54

Right if you see me on here before 4 o'clock kick my arse please.

I have a ton of stuff to do, the house looks like a bomb's hit it and I need to shred and fatbust.

On a positive note, I am back to the weight I was when I finished the Dukan and I have not been watching what I eat at all the last week or so.

Lizzy, thanks for asking I'm fine just a bit hormental at the moment. (Saw that on another thread and decided to adopt it)

DH is on his best behaviour, long may it continue. I feel I am slowly getting my husband back.

Right, To Do list

Change beds
Clean bathroom
start laundry
Tidy Ds' Tip
Hoover and mop
Wash up
Order shopping
Tidy living room
Dust living room
clear up kitchen
Clean coffee table
Clean mucky fingerprints off of TV screen
Put away toys
Clear random trail of books clothes and shoes from up the stairs.

I'll let you know how I get on later!

See you later lovelies.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/07/2010 11:56

Defer Student Loan
Fatbust
Sort dinner

I may be back by tea time!

Mouseface · 14/07/2010 11:56

Mittz - right. Moon cups. I need convincing as to why they are a good idea. I have looked at them lots.

I can't figure out how they work and I'm a bit freaked by the idea too. They look huge on the adverts....

Tell me more whilst I go get you that kipper....

Mouseface · 14/07/2010 12:00

Crunchy - time means nothing IME!! You can never gage just what is going through an interviewers mind!! - Right Lizzy??

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. When will you hear?

Bitter - bugger off and get on with your huuuuuuuuuge list!

Thanks everyone I've got 2 weeks work experience in August which has kinda messed up any job applications because people don't want to give you the time off. I've been enjoying my break, just wish I had a bit more than my DLA money each month! Still, nearly time to go back to uni then I'll be busy making films again

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 14/07/2010 12:09

Thanks mouse, I should hear within a week, but they were pretty vague.

As for moon cups, I like mine but haven't been able to find it since I had dd a year ago.

They work by creating a seal, so if they're positioned right they are much more effective in containing everything than a tampon, if they're leaking they're prob not in right. You fold them up to insert them.

Must find mine.

I don't want to make a list of everything that needs doing, it'd be too depressing.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 14/07/2010 12:12

Oh and when I say I cant find it, its not a case of finding it... Within me iyswim.

Alicetheinvisible · 14/07/2010 12:13

Afternoon

Been to playgroup where i sat in the nursing chair the whole time, then for cake with my friend. Home now, am fucked! Why is it i can muck both my horses out, but wandering into town (i live in the street behind the town centre) kills me? Playgroup is easy, DD does her own thing there.

I am not painting, our next door neighbour is a painter/decorator so he will do it. I would be doing it if not pg, but tbh he does such a good job and is so cheap it is worth him doing it.

My dream about Mittz:

I am rushing around trying to get DD out of the house for something or other, Mittz knocks on the door with her dc's, compliments my hall storage bench then we have a quick chat and i say, ok, will be back later, if you go out can you leave my key in the welly by the door.

Strange

alright lads

Am i the only one who hates the saying AF? i prefer to use the term 'the martians have landed' (little aliens from the red planet that take over your brain )

Mooncups however, are fabulous and i love mine

Alice, i have a feeling that baby is coming soon are you still calling him Vinny?

LollipopViolet · 14/07/2010 12:25

I should probably be looking at starting to sort things for the end of the month. I've got 16 days before we go and have NO PLANS sorted! My mate is having the tickets sent to her, and we're supposed to all be going shopping together for drink and other bits and bobs but haven't sorted it yet. I need 2 new bags as well, 1 for all my stuff, then a day back for my rain poncho, water and suncream, and camera (phone, money and ID will be in my money belt which won't leave my waist all weekend!). And I need to get some heavy metal accessories, so I fit in a bit! And decide what clothes I'm taking.

I've got a lot to do really...

Lizzylou · 14/07/2010 12:26

Crunch, am with Mouse on this, length of interview is no indication. The person before may have had a really complex CV that needed explaining, lots of moving about etc, anything. Glad to know that your mooncup is not lost up your foof, I was worried for a while.

Vinny, I hate the term AF, but nothing seems right when I type it. I end up saying AF or menstrual. Could go with DH's lovely term of On the Blob.
Oh he's a charmer.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 14/07/2010 12:27

Will do . So am I to assume that the second they saw me they were so bowled over by my awesomeness that they didn't need to hear anymore?

Alice, I do recall one evening when I was nesting with ds2 dh came home to find I'd decided I didn't like the colour of the kitchen, had gone out, bought paint, and painted it

VinnyTheTit · 14/07/2010 12:29

lol at your dh lizzy

'on the blob is a bit' bleugh i do like 'the painters are in' though

Alicetheinvisible · 14/07/2010 12:31

Vinny - well it is a toss up betwwen Vinny or terry tbh Can you give me an exact date please, would like to be prepared.

My nesting instinct last time consisted of scrubbing out my horses stables with Jeyes fluid the week before DD arrived.

Mouseface · 14/07/2010 12:37

Hope your pa is ok.xx

Crunchy - keep us posted re the job

Vinny - sorry. Will try to refrain from using that in the future.

LV - can I be nosy? What do you get DLA for? DS gets the highest rate as his SN are severe and I get the highest rate of mobility DLA plus carers allowance for DS.

Please don't feel you have to answer, tell me to sod off by all means.

Do you claim anything else to help top up your moeny? Tax Credits for example or can you not? Is there anything else you can claim as a student to help?

Alice - good idea re getting someone else to do it! My mum banned ladders, steps, boxes etc and let me do as much as I could reach, she came and did the rest.

At 38 weeks, I was cleanig the house all day, every day! By 41+6 weeks, I was sat rocking on the sofa begging DD to hurry up out so I didn't have to clean for one minute more!! They induced me the next day!!

VinnyTheTit · 14/07/2010 12:38

oh can we take bets on the date? how low is the head?

VinnyTheTit · 14/07/2010 12:41

Dont be sorry Mouse, i am being grumpy arsed because the martians are hoovering above in their little space ship (fuckers)

just tell me to sodoff if i offend you (sorry if i did )

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/07/2010 12:44

I've got to laugh at Alice scrubbling out the stables before giving birth. What did the medical staff say? "He is not the Messiah- he's a naughty little boy!"
