Double - Mittz asked me/us to smoke her a kipper. It's a line from a film/tv show but can't tell you which one.

Vinny - not offended.

Alice - you have to call him Fred. I love Fred. Ignore Double.

DreamsInBinary · 14/07/2010 13:15

Hahahaha at 'on the blob'. Your DH sounds ace LL.

I love my mooncup, but now have the wonderful mirena coil so have no need for it. Bizarrely, it was an impulse purchase in Boots.

LollipopViolet · 14/07/2010 13:17

Mouse, I'm visually impaired, not got a guide dog or cane or anything like that, but I'm not able to drive. So I get low rate mobility to cover the extra costs. It's good because I know if I need to get a train somewhere that's what it's for (1/3 off with a disabled persons railcard as well) and also if my parents ever want any petrol money for giving me lifts and stuff. They usually say no, but I do offer every once in a while.

Me and my mate who I mentioned earlier are off to 1 day of V festival and my granddad might be giving us a lift, so I'll give him some money for that as it's a little trek (we're in Staffordshire but it's still a fair way away).

Anyway, just had a nice bit of ham and salad for lunch, stir fry for dinner tonight, yum!

PortiaNovmerriment · 14/07/2010 13:18

Just a reference to somebody famous being born in a stable, Vinny

LV - every little helps (to pinch Tesco's strap line) when it comes to travel etc. We have to get to Birmingham Childrens Hospital (4 hour round trip) on a regular basis for Little Mouse so the extra money helps pay for petrol. I have a blue parking badge so that helps. Means I can get nearer the door!!

Stir fry sounds yummy, what are you putting in it? I'm a huge fan of chicken in stir frys.

Home made burgers, oven chips and a soft boiled egg here tonight!!

Portia - have you seen the studio yet?

Mouseface · 14/07/2010 13:31

LV - meant to ask, how is FoodFocus going?

VinnyTheTit · 14/07/2010 13:33

Jeezus bof i am fick arent i

Mittz · 14/07/2010 13:37

Wasn't it Red Dwarf... or The Brittas Empire? That guy anyway re the kippers. Have just always like the saying.

Once you get the hang of Mooncups and have your own little routine, they are fab. IMO. One off expense and then last for ages... don't absorb extra moisture, no risk of TSS, they just seem right to me .

Sorry another that hates AF here. Due on. that's about it for me.

I love your ego DI, I will indeedy do pick you if I ever turn girly . Bet I kiss better than BSNN by a mile .. Ohhhhhh.. I am sooooo good at kissing

Back to it... sorry for not catching up with all --- tara!! xx

TrillianAstra · 14/07/2010 13:45

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast - Ace Rimmer from Red Dwarf ( the cool alt-universe version of Rimmer).

I hate what AF stands for, but I also hate that DS etc is 'Darling Son' - pretty boak-worthy. However I type/read them as just shorthand for 'having a period' or 'my son' without thinking that the actual letters stand for.

Just having lunch, have spent most of the morning sorting out someone's mistake. It wasn't a very difficult mistake to make, but is still a pain to have to re-do a bunch of work.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 14/07/2010 14:18

Hello, just having a quick break while DD finishes her luch. She is 'sharing' it with her bear, mouthful for him mouthful for her - cutest thing ever!

Upstairs is sorted bar hoovering, and I have shredded and busted. Oh and changed the beds and sorted about a million pieces of lego from under DS' bed.

I agree with AF - it's pretty cringeworthy but a useful acronym.

And my shoes are here! Very comfortable, just hope they go with the dress!

13th at midday, because you'll be so fed up by that point that you will insist that you can't spend another weekend with the baby inside you, and yu don't care that it's Friday the 13th.

(sorry, but I am usually wrong so I am actually preventing this from happening by predicting it)
