I so so rarely lose my rag.

I have always had a key to DP's house, as he does to mine. My brother rents a room there, but is now acting like he owns the place. He has kept having digs about me ringing thez doorbell instead of using my key, and I went round tonight for kind of a special occasion, as DP has been doing up his sudio and wanted to get it spot on perfect for me to see it. So I go round all excited, let myself in, but shout "Helloooo!" and stay near the door so I know DP and him have registered that I'm there. Anyway he kicks off about "common fucking curtesy" etc etc, but I'm not backing down- it's not his bloody house, and if DP wants me to have a key then I'll use my bloody key.

So I told him to fuck himself, fumed for about ten seconds at the window of DP's studio, turned on my heel and left. Barely even noticing the room

DP must be really disappointed, but I'm not going back there tonight or I swear I will rip mt brother's head off. Honestly, I am so bloody angry- and I never get like this.

PortiaNovmerriment · 12/07/2010 21:45

Sorry Gigi- I will get excited about Marco when my red mist has cleared

TrillianAstra · 12/07/2010 21:46

Sounds like he should bog off and find his own place. If his landlord wants you to have a key then you can bloody well let yourself in whenever you want to!

Oh Portia - do you and your brother usually have words over stuff?

To me, you were curteous, shouted then waited at the door. He told you to use the key and you did.

Is this a present Gigi? How come you are getting to cook with him? Trousers and top?

Gigantaur · 12/07/2010 21:52

He is so very much in the wrong.

You have a key given to you by the man who owns the house.

he is a cock end.

don't allow him to ruin your night and Dp's studio unveiling.

PortiaNovmerriment · 12/07/2010 21:52

Go low-cut Gigi. Definitely. All Delicious Miss Gigi and that.

Gigantaur · 12/07/2010 21:54

Only found out late last week. Its all rather exciting but imnot sure what to expect.

I am dreading the idea of being given onbe of those white chef coats as i just know it wont fit me

I dont think i own any tops that aren't low cut. i don;t buy them that way, my norkage just finds ways of escaping

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 12/07/2010 21:56

I think I'm going to go to bed. Nightxx

Have fun with Marco Gigi.

VinnyTheTit · 12/07/2010 22:16

oh Portia send your db round to me so i can shag beat the crap out of him

Jaquelinehyde · 12/07/2010 22:16

Evening ladies just popping on quickly.

I went for my walk this evening, was lovely once the sun had gone down, and the best news is I managed nearly double the distance I usually do without my back killing me. Only one week of dieting and I'm seeing the advantages all ready

I'm off to Port Lympne tomorrow (I've started a thread about saving money) with my winnings form the world cup sweepstake. The kiddies don't even know, it will be a house full of excitement tomorrow morning!

Hope everyone is feeling well. Portia your brother is being a knob!

wastingaway · 12/07/2010 22:21

Hey all.

Portia, he's well out of order.

Gigi, that's so exciting!

I think I've got some hypochondria anxiety thing, been so stressed today.
I'm going to reduce caffeine slightly and see if it helps.

Last time I was caffeine-free I was chronically sleep-deprived due to baby DS, so I can't predict the outcome.

Oh and on the family thing --

My Mum had my eldest brother at 19, and my youngest brother at 42 with 5 others in between.

However, the mad woman she is will be turning 60 this year and yet she has just become the legal guardian of my neice (my sisters mental health means she can not care for her). My neice has been in her care since she was 3 months old (she is now 20 months)and my Mum now raises her as her own.

So her children are aged -- 39, 38, 36, 32, 25, 23, 18 and 20 months

The woman is either a saint or a nutter...you decide!

wastingaway · 12/07/2010 22:25

Well done Jaq! And That's quite a range!

Gigi at you meeting Marco, but can you tell him to take that stupid t-towel off his head, he looks like a twat

Portia, dont really want to bonk your db, its just been a while

TrillianAstra · 12/07/2010 22:43

Oooh, we could have a thread wedding, go for it Vinny! (and tell him to be nicer to his sister!)

PortiaNovmerriment · 12/07/2010 22:46

I'm still pissed off that it spoilt me seeing the new studio. DP had done it all up beautifully- he's shown me some photos now. I don't want to go round and see it until I know my brother is out though and I've calmed down. I'll have it out with him at some point in the week I suppose, but I'm really pissed off that he wrecked what should have been a nice night, and upset DP into the bargain. Tosser.

Mouseface · 12/07/2010 22:47

Evening, tis me, Mouseface.

I'm so tired. I'm going to bed. DD's play was brilliant. The children as so talented.

DS is v poorly still so I'm going to try and get some sleep. Last night was awful. Today was awful. He's not napped. He keeps crying.

I'm hoping tonight, I get a small break!!

Hope that you are all as gorgeous as ever.

So sorry that I've caught up. I will tomorrow. From page erm 5 or 6 or 7. Eek!!!

Love you all lots.

Night xx

Mouseface · 12/07/2010 22:56

NOT caught up.

Fuckwit. Tired fuckwit.

YanknCock · 12/07/2010 23:33

I am hopeless at keeping up/catching up. Had a long weekend doing garden clearing, seeing Status Quo, and celebrating MrCock's birthday.

Got back to work to find out that all the staff on fixed term contracts are not being renewed, so I'm out of a job in October. My secondment is supposed to be till November, so I don't know if I'll be finishing out this project or not. But I need to start looking for a new job, or figure out how I can get away without working and take DS out of nursery. Really not what we need in our already precarious financial situation.

And I burned myself with splashing oil so had to go to A&E tonight (DH said I had to, I said I didn't, so we agreed to go by what NHS Direct say and they told me to go). It might still blister, but consultant said it was a good job I'd put it straight under the cold water. Have some lovely splatter burn marks going up my arm too.

PortiaNovmerriment · 12/07/2010 23:47

Oh shit Yank- I'm sorry about the job. And your poor bloody arm- it sounds really painful
