Just that. What do you think?

Which two are still outstanding?

HundredAcreOwl · 05/07/2024 16:40

I think all are declared now. I think planes and boats are involved with remote areas, which means weather can intervene.

I think Reform voters are like Brexit voters, they don't like to say why they voted for it

Absolutely ! Just a bunch of racist, ableist women haters

Roselilly36 · 05/07/2024 17:47

5th seat for Reform, just announced.

Ugh.
With any luck, they'll lose them all in four years' time.

My apologies, I think Inverness still has to declare.

Let's see what kind of constituency MOs these reform people make.

I'm rubbing my hands like Me Burns.

LiterallyOnFire · 05/07/2024 18:43

MPs. Doh.

Do you mean with Labour in power, who won’t stir this up, support for Reform will drop?

I guess we’ll see

It takes time to change a culture once it's embedded.

You are so right. I hope Keir is genuine, can really ensure no more pockets being lined.

But Reform support will go down over that time not up?

Isn’t that what you’re claiming, Labour will change the culture and Reform won’t be as much of an issue

I am expecting them to change the culture. And as I said, it takes a long time. However the new government appointments are an excellent start and I certainly hope eventually people won't feel so scared or angry and that will have positive consequences.

If Reform are going to grow they either need a) increased dissatisfaction that translates to a protest vote, or b) come up with a range of policies that they can cope with being questioned on (rather than short slogans) and that don't rely on 'big names'.

Plus, of course, deliver for their constituents and show they can work together for a few years - not weeks - without all the big egos falling out with each other.
