His language speaks volumes about how he sees women, particularly those with different opinions, and it's not edifying.

He's a Labour heavyweight, he hasn't apologised for his comments, and he's not alone in holding these views.

Shadow Justice Secretary David Lammy has told a Labour Party conference fringe event when discussing trans rights this morning that “there are some dinosaurs on the right” and also that “those dinosaurs exist in our own party” who want to “hoard rights”.

That sounds to me like he's talking about politicians, particularly older and mainly right wing ones. It makes me think of men actually, given the demographics of right wing politicians.

Your opinion on this is equally valid to mine. My opinion is this wasn't the level of misogyny it's been portrayed as and its been used as anti left propaganda.

Labour is going to win a huge majority, regardless of how I vote or don't vote. I'm generally OK with that because I'm generally OK with their policy positions. Except when it comes to women's rights. So that is the aspect I am going to continue to focus on.

I think he's talking about specific older politicians in the Conservatives and some in his party.
I'm not in parliament so would have no idea who he's referring to.

He specifically says "on the right and in our own party" so he's clearly not talking about female members of the public with concerns.

I don't think what he said was great but the way it's been spun is propaganda in my opinion. It's turned into an urban myth of "Lammy called women rights hoarding dinosaurs", which you are propagating.
