Artificial grass - yes or no?

I have a substantial garden, some has porcelain tiles but it’s mostly loose stone which looks bare and is difficult to use so I was considering artificial grass.

I know there’s lots of grades of grass, I’d opt for the premium grade but wanted to garner opinion, what (if any) are the drawbacks of artificial grass? Will I love to regret it?

Well you're clearly as 'thick as pigshit' to not realise the damage that it can cause to the environment.

You cannot just gloss over the fact in this. That you clearly are doing.

Artificial grass is clearly bad for the environment.

Actually that is exactly the point of the thread. The OP asked what some of the drawbacks of artificial grass might be and negative effects on the environment absolutely is a drawback.

A lot of things don't have benefits for the environment but we still use them. Again though, you're glossing over that fact and are insistent we JUST talk about artificial grass.

The OP also wanted to know if it was a yes or no. Yet 0eople who've said yes aren't allowed their opinion...

can I ask what is it you’re trying to achieve. You are not going to stop people responding to the op, and you aren’t going to get anyone to change their mind , the environmental impacts of it are factual. The fact it looks like tacky shite is subjective, but folks are allowed to express that. What is it you’re trying to achieve?

Add 'twisting things' to the reasons of why you're such a delight 🙂

Other people have mentioned other things that aren't good for the environment but we're not allowed to discuss them. Do you have a car?

Nobody has denied the environmental element or it being fact but people are allowed to say they like it too.

You cannot just gloss over the fact that people are concerned about the environmental impact and are voicing their FACTS about artificial grass.

What are you trying to achieve in this exactly?
For people to say

'oh yes I love it'
'it does wonders for my garden"
'it is the best thing which I've done'
'it is great for the environment '

Is that what you want us to say?

Is your question not, do you have a car you don’t need, ie for school runs, work commute, shopping, caring responsibilities, etc etc when you have other options`?

We definitely all need plastic grass in our lives. It's the way to go.

People have been allowed their opinion. You have been allowed your opinion. You have stated your opinion over and over and over again on this thread. Your posts have not been deleted.

People disagreeing with you isn't them 'not allowing' your opinion. It's them disagreeing with you. Yes, more people (a lot more people) disagree with you than agree with you but that doesn't mean you haven't been allowed your opinion.
