To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

@Lottsbiffandsmudge looks lovely, I love salvias as well, although most of our new garden is very shady so difficult to find somewhere for them. I planted three last year in our only sunny border but unfortunately the hard frost killed them off even though well mulched

BeaLola · 31/05/2023 17:39

Very excited as one of my wisteria has flowered - yay

Thought I'd lost this thread for a min!!

<waves> to lots 😁

My little garden is looking good and I bought myself a new rose today, I'm hoping it will climb over my arch.

Love this time of year.

I love wisteria! Glad it's flowered for you bea
My heating has come on this morning. After planting out all my annuals in the heat of Sunday its typically gone really cold here. Hoping they survive! * *Ihave nurtured them all.from seed on my window sills, which DH so really need them to be worth it!!!

Lottsbiffandsmudge · 01/06/2023 06:46

DH hates....

This is my old Scots Rose. Rosa Spinosissima a semi-double pink. I was told it was William III but that is a red colour so it's not that, there is very slight marbling on the petals.
The third photo is to show the very thorny stems!
It is growing in partial shade near a tree but seems to thrive.
Sadly it only has one flush of flowers but is making a great show this summer.

Tryptophobes look away now. I see the image will be masked so people can choose whether or not to look.

Here's a flower on the Swiss Cheese plant growing over the fence from next door. You can see the fruit (the tryptohobic bit) within the lily-like flower. The thing rather rudely poking in is another flower, not yet open. The pointy end of this is that the fruit is edible, so I'm going to try it. Will report back.

Oh. Not masked. The message doesn't say why an image is sensitive and I immediately thought it was the, to me, vaguely sexual nature of the pic. Confused

AnneKipankitoo · 12/06/2023 06:57

Amazing @echt

Some amazing photos! Beautiful summer colours. That Swiss cheese plant flower - I had no idea that was what they looked like. Very Georgia O'Keeffe!

Some picture from mine today. Dahlias just hitting their stride and the Astrantias are looking amazing (this took a lot of watering during the dry patch). Like others here, the hydrangeas looking lovely too (this one is in a huge pot, tucked into the dead zone of my garden where little else grows).

Thanks for sharing Flowers

I discovered a tiny lion lurking in my deck garden. In other news, the wild raspberries in our yard are starting to produce fruit a bit early this year.

@MissConductUS I want a tiny lion in my garden too! In hopes of attracting one, I've planted some catnip...anxiously awaiting for it to mature like in this postGrin
