To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

Oh & wild garlic (last photo in first set of 3)

My tulips are nearly done but the alliums are nearly out. Everything seems quite far behind this year. Want to get my an uala out but it's so cold (and I know too early but need to free up some window sill space!)

Scent is divine

Love those tulips @AnneKipankitoo. I didn't plant any last winter - thought I'd have a year off having seen so many the year before decapitated by a bloody squirrel!

WobblyLondoner · 13/05/2023 16:12

@TheDuchessOfMN wow that's a glorious pink! I was thinking today that my rose (a Gertrude Jekyll) was looking really lush - hope I get some blooms like that.

Blasted squirrels, they do this in my garden too. I planted snowdrops last year, and this year most were decapitated. So sad.

AnneKipankitoo · 13/05/2023 17:27

I love the rose too @TheDuchessOfMN

We have squirrels but they seem occupied with other things

OP posts:
WobblyLondoner · 13/05/2023 17:40

@Imicola squirrels do that to snowdrops too? Good grief. Luckily the ones here have not developed a taste for that. Yet...

Imicola · 13/05/2023 20:53

I wasn't sure for a while, but then i saw them sitting in the magnolia tree, pulling off the buds and eating them, so I'm pretty sure it's them at the snowdrops too. They also completely stole 2 brand new rhubarb crowns out the ground.

Imicola · 13/05/2023 20:55

Brunnera and pulmonaria looking lovely today! Clearly not tasty enough for the squirrels...
