To continue into Spring 2022.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how many pictures I will be able to supply this year . Some builders are in building an extension for me .
I might have to live off all your lovely photos. Keep them coming!💐

I created this little beauty by saving seed from an alpine aquilegia, it's a mix of that and an ordinary one. Quite pleased, the flowers are huge and it's nice and compact.

In 20 years, this weigela has never looked so beautiful. I have clearly been pruning it at the wrong time all these years!

@applecatchers36 my first rose today as well - a Gertrude Jekyll. Was a bit worried I'd over-pruned it - its old support was rotting and I had to savage it to get that out and a new metal obelisk in. But seems ok!

You've sone lovely clematis @TammyJones, well done. Mine have been really savaged by snails this year - lots of manky leaves and even some munched flowers.

Extensionrebellion · 21/05/2023 20:27

This is the first year my irises have flowered much!

Glorious pictures - please keep them coming as they really lift the spirit

I think the new David Austin rose is unveiled tomorrow - I'm going to try sitting on my hands

MissConductUS · 21/05/2023 23:35

I get these frogs all the time around my deck plantings. It's amazing how they match the color of whatever surface they're on.

@Lottsbiffandsmudge love it, is that geum Totally Tangerine? We used to have one in our old house but gave away the planter when we moved, I loved it. Had it planted next to a purple heuchera and it looked marvellous with the purple like your alliums 🧡💜💚

Lottsbiffandsmudge · 30/05/2023 20:31

Hi @LucyLoopyLu yes it is Totally Tangerine. I love geums- they flower for so long! And yes fabulous with the purple. My salvias are out now too!
