Just a little fourward planning . We are all looking forward to another thread of fabulous pictures. It can be a quiet time but I am sure some of us will have autumnal colours to share . The trees are starting to turn here . I have just picked an allium from my photo collection to start the thread off .
You are very welcome to finish or visit the old thread . I do not know how to do ... this is the old thread here thing .

So funny that your DH is toughening up your garden for you😂
That's how I've chosen my garden plants throughout the last 20 years...if they could survive 3 dogs, 3 DC, DH, and drought , then they are still growing...if not, then it was nice while they lasted

Beautiful..that gave me some cheer. gracie spent many hours supervising me in my garden whilst I was working...she wanted to make sure I did everything perfect

Gracie was a sweet looking thing . Was she a pug ?

BTW the flower I posted is a clematis. I can't reach the higher ones .

Ha! She was supposed to be little anyway... her parents were about 5 kilos, but she turned out to be 8 kilos with no extra weight on her...years after we had her, we got a notice from the American Kennel Association telling us they were sad to inform us that our gracie 's lineage had been forged and the dna results from her father weren't accurate...we didn't care one smidge..she was the best puggie ever..forged dna and all...made us love her more

Ah fabulous roses Notso....your husband and my son sounds like they could win an award for least garden friendly loved one. My son has just gone around snapping off all the Lilly buds that were just getting ready for flowering 😭

God you'd think my 1 year old would be causing all the problems but nope it's the man child  @applecatchers36. I'm sorry to hear about the lilies  I hope they have a second bloom and regrow! My roses had issues last year but managed to regrow buds and catch a late bloom. Not sure how Lilies work..

What lovely pictures and also what sad ones of the fire.

We are buying a tree hopefully today, I can’t go along though as it needs space in the car. It’s a hawthorn tree. I bought two small olive trees for our front porch last week which I’m potting up today.

The duchess of Cornwall is flowering nicely now
