Just a little fourward planning . We are all looking forward to another thread of fabulous pictures. It can be a quiet time but I am sure some of us will have autumnal colours to share . The trees are starting to turn here . I have just picked an allium from my photo collection to start the thread off .
You are very welcome to finish or visit the old thread . I do not know how to do ... this is the old thread here thing .

Lovely to see the bees too. I've had a bumblebee coming to visit the last couple of days but I haven't managed to get a photo as he doesn't seem to want to keep still enough!

Why thank you! So far it's not looking so great for the seeds I planted, but I've never seen such thriving weeds

I did chance putting some bulbs in my fridge that I need to plant...I taped the drawer shut and posted a huge warning sign to DH I hope to have plenty of colourful glads and peonies real soon. I will not be putting them in the ground because of the squirrels... they've started to flaunt their winning of the yard wars at the Family Sweetpea garden...one ran within 3m of me and dashed zippily into a perfectly round hole yesterday as I was filling the fountain...I tried to baptise him, but he was too quick.

Snowing again today here ❄️😭 Was so hoping for my gardening season to have begun.

Took more photos yesterday of some new Crocus I have blooming. (Sorry, I know Crocus is all I've been able to post so far but I'm up against the elements here!).

Oh - also a huge Crocus I was very excited to see. Hard to get perspective in a photo so I took one with the flower in my hand to try to give an idea of the size of the bloom.

Gorgeous purple crocus Beauty so fresh and sweet.

Was really hoping to start getting out in the garden to start planting seeds but it's too cold and may get colder might give it another week...have put my Dahlias in though as inspired my Monty on gardeners world the week before...

Ha! They aren't little buggers anymore...with all the things they've been munching on in my garden, they're getting very chubby...they've had to enlarge their holes!!! I imagine a small child could just about fit through one

Those crocuses are gorgeous and huge..you must have a very green thumb...where is all that snow coming from?..is some foreign government doing weather experiments on the clouds?

My pieris that I bought last year is looking pretty.

I'd love to have a hedgehog visitor, don't think I've ever seen a wild one.

Oh that's an unusual plant and looking very healthy FeltTip, reminds me of the cherry blossoms in all the trees around at the moment

That pieris does look like it has survived the winter just fine...the flowers almost look like lilies of the valley..I wonder if they are any relation? Will they continue to bloom for awhile?

Southeast US is awash in azaleas! I guess this is why the Augusta National Golf Tournament gets so much attention since the entire fairways are lined in Azaleas...pity they only last about 2 weeks though
The dogwood are just coming in to bloom also. And I have no idea what the little purple and pink flowers are that the bunny is hiding in.

I love seeing the Masters on TV . It is such a beautiful course .

Yes, the Master's is amazing...one year the azaleas bloomed early or the broadcast was too late, but the scenery was still lovely
