We had this thread last year but I can't find it.

I have a white cherry blossom and 2 pink cherry blossom (all young so it will be a few years before I can really appreciate their beauty)

White magnolia

Pink Magnolia (Magnolia Galaxy) is still only budding. The weather has been cold and it's also young.

Tulips

I can't wait for my Paul's Scarlett tree to flower in May Smile

My Camilias were poor this year. They seem to do that every second year. I've since read that it's to do with water the previous August, so I'll keep that in mind this year

Looking forward to reading replies Smile

Pulmonaria, tulips, camellias, rhododendrons (a lovely white dwarf one and a big orangey-pink one), clouds of bluebells, maple tree, fothergilla major, kerria japonica, ribes sanguineum and broom. Sadly my anemone nemorosa are vanishing again - they have been magical. But the camassia flowers are just opening and the cornflowers and aquilegia will be out soon.

On the edible side, apple, cherry and plum blossom plus blueberries, currants and strawberries. Not so pretty but promising good things to come!

Growingboys · 27/04/2018 20:32

My white cherry blossom and my magnolia.

Last year's lavender all died so I've just put new lavender in.

My camellias are doing really well this year!

Annabelle4 · 27/04/2018 21:04

Oh yes, I forgot my apple trees have white blossom, although I don't think the blossom is the prettiest sight.

I can't wait for roses to bloom, especially climbing roses. June I think?

We planted our sunflower seeds a few days ago Smile

My ceanothus (in pots) died over winter :-(

All I have currently is viburnum bodnantense (I think - dangly pink flowers followed by nice green leaves), forget-me-nots & those little blue spring bulb flowers.

Nice new leaves on 3 differently-coloured acers though Smile

WonkyDonk87 · 27/04/2018 21:26

Nowhere near the gardener that you guys are but my cherry blossom tree is blooming and I'm so pleased! It was a gift for my birthday last year and I can't wait to see it grow each year.

Cary2012 · 27/04/2018 22:18

Fritillary
Tulips
Daffs almost finished
Hellabores still going strong
Violas and Winter Pansies looking good
Primroses
Rosemary
Clematis full of buds with one flower, fingers crossed it will be amazing this year, covering a corner trellis.
Dianthus
Primulas
The big bay tree is starting to flower too.

Bluntness100 · 27/04/2018 22:27

Magnolias, white and pink, rhodedenrums, the wild garlic has flowered, primroses cherry blossom, blue bells, camelias, also some ground covering small leave bushes the previous owners put in that I don't know the name of.(pic attached in case any one does).

The wisteria also has buds on and will flower shortly.

The crocuses have died though and the daffodils are on their way out too.

What's blooming in your garden at the moment?
viques · 27/04/2018 22:41

Forgot my auriculas! And the hellebores, though they are going over now.

FreeButtonBee · 27/04/2018 22:44

My wisteria is having its first proper year and I am sooooo excited. If the rain destroys the blossom I think I may cry. It’s year three and I can now start to properly train it over the fence

Had some fabulous dwarf hyacinth. The squirrels ate ALL My tulips bulbs 😬 rosemary is flowering too.

This was my first year of spring bulbs and I will be doing a lot more I think. they were just lovely.

Lovely hearing about everyone else's gardening successes!

GingerKitCat · 27/04/2018 23:06

Oh and erysimum Bowles Mauve!

tigercub50 · 27/04/2018 23:06

I am definitely not a gardener but looking forward to buying some plants to go in my big patio pots ( although the new house doesn’t have a patio!). The Range where I work has loads & I really fancy impatiens, primulas, violas/pansies, can’t spell but something like kicachoo, maybe lobelia & if my geraniums haven’t survived then I’ll buy more. I really miss my roses so need to sort some out. Quite fancy growing some veg too. We’ve dabbled in the past & enjoyed it, although didn’t produce much. At the moment all I have is some narcissi & a few pink bluebells, whatever they’re called!

tigercub50 · 27/04/2018 23:09

Oh yes petunias. I also love sweet peas. And I’m sure we have some sunflower seeds somewhere for DD. I’d like to get her interested, maybe put her in charge of a pot. Herbs would be good too. Lavender.....the possibilities are endless!

Cheesenacho123 · 27/04/2018 23:31

My amaze last has big buds on so won’t be long before I see them opening to flowers, strawberries are starting to flower and my lavender is coming back gradually from the dead with the odd purple stem but mostly green. Sunflowers we germinated a week ago are starting to shoot through, the fuchsias are still giving lots of foliage but no sign of flowers yet and my poppies that I also planted a week ago are also just shooting through
