We had this thread last year but I can't find it.

I have a white cherry blossom and 2 pink cherry blossom (all young so it will be a few years before I can really appreciate their beauty)

White magnolia

Pink Magnolia (Magnolia Galaxy) is still only budding. The weather has been cold and it's also young.

Tulips

I can't wait for my Paul's Scarlett tree to flower in May Smile

My Camilias were poor this year. They seem to do that every second year. I've since read that it's to do with water the previous August, so I'll keep that in mind this year

Looking forward to reading replies Smile

Lovely delphinium! I can’t grow them as the slugs think they’re a banquet..

CristalTipps · 10/06/2018 18:34

Izzywigs What is that called? I have one in my new garden. It's getting thoroughly munched by bugs though...

I'd love to be able to join in here, because whoever lived in this house last must have been an enthusiastic gardener. Every time some things stop blooming, others start. At the moment there is an explosion of purple flowers going on and the roses have come out too. I need to learn a) what everything is and b) how to keep it all alive!!

Mine are gnawed to stumps as soon as they shoot, but a blast of nematodes turned the tables enough for them to go zoom!

MrsBertBibby · 10/06/2018 19:03

Lovely yellow rose. Bet it smells delicious too.

JT05 · 10/06/2018 20:05

Thanks, yes it does. It’s only been there 18 months, a bit of a gamble on a North facing wall, but it is really taking off. I give it lots of rose food and water.
I will try the delphiniums and nematodes, thanks.

There's a yellow rose on my way in to the office, I keep meaning to put a note through their door to thank them for all the uplifting sniffs I have had at it.

I've got roses, lavender, geraniums, and mumsnet-recommended Salvias and Whisley Vanilla nemetias. It smells glorious.

My garden is the best it's ever been. Still waiting on Cosmos, Sweet Peas and Cleome - my first attempts at growing from seed!

Don't know what these are but they're beautiful.

Should probably add that I do know they're roses, just not what sort!

Cosmos is in flower and it is the richest deep pink...free seeds with GW mag earlier this year. Called "Dazzler" and am thrilled. Got over forty in, and one bud has opened and made my day.
