Gusto boxes

Just started the gusto boxes. Would anyone like to swap recipe choices? / hints?

I’m cooking the prawn farfalle today - about to serve it for lunch but baffled the online recipe and physical recipe card don’t match. One says rocket one says pea shoots - I assume that’s a sub but weird that it’s the physical version that’s correct!

Has anyone else made this one? Or have any tips on choosing gusto meals?

I stopped Gousto to save money.. have had takeout three times this week!! Need to sort myself out :)

We had a week off a few weeks back and I ended up spending loads more on my weekly shop!

Think long days at work haven't helped tbh so it's always easier to get take out. Think I need to eat everything in the fridge first and then will unpause my Gousto. Going to cancel HF, their veg options are limited and like Gousto they charge extra for decent fish. I still prefer Gousto though.

I prefer Gousto to Hello Fresh too. think I am also going to cancel HF after my next box. I have one more £10 off discount to use first.

The satay curry was lush! Highly recommended

Ooh I have the satay curry fir tomorrow (going to a BBQ today) so really pleased to hear it was good.

I found Gousto more expensive. HF have 60% discount codes freely

I never see any HF discount codes for existing customers - they only seem to offer them for new customers.

Wow, the chicken satay was lovely! My DH said he didn’t want it to end

Had the smoky chicken skewers tonight. They were really good, especially the dip!

We've just had a 10 minute one - chickpea spinach and coconut curry. It was delicious. Had halloumi wraps earlier in the week and they were nice too, and 10 minutes. I always try to go for the quick ones, as anything over 20 minutes seems to take me hours!

We had the chickpea coconut curry too and we really liked it. We also had the coronation chickpea curry which was very good but I forgot to add the flaked almonds at the end. We were supposed to be having the vegetarian chilli tonight but they didn’t send us the recipe bag. It’s the first time it’s happened to us but they did refund us.

It always takes me longer than the recipe says and sometimes I find that things don’t get cooked for long enough in the recipe. For example, last night the curry had green beans in but I left it on the hob for longer because they weren’t cooked.

We had the halloumi salad tonight which was really good

We recreated the Gousto Sri Lankan aubergine curry this evening. It was really tasty.

We are trying hello fresh at the moment. Only done 1 week so far but have to say, really enjoying it. Making meals I'd never have made before and they are so tasty.

I had the poke bowl last night. It was bland.

Had the spicy peanut king prawn noodles tonight. It was really nice - full of flavour.

The marmite teriyaki tofu was alright, but nothing special.

The recipes for the next few weeks are a bit uninspiring
