I would love a Fray Bentos steak and kidney pie. With either baked beans or mushy peas. But thats not a food crime, thats a DH-is-away dinner.

The dd's made me do it. After a sustained and multi pronged attack in Sainsbury's I relented and bought them. I don't know what I was doing.

In my defence they were deeply horrid.

xmas cake and wensleydale cheese are SUPPOSED to go together. Thats not a crime, thats definitely regional cuisine.

Disney princess cakes though... thats in a different league. Most of the other things listed are our own concoctions (or our Dads), and usually taste darned good. 'Character' cake mixes are deliberately and cynically designed and manufactured. Can you imagine that being your life's work... product designer for disney cake mix.

me and ds made up Noddy and Fifi packet cupcake mixes for dd's birthday - oh my god they were so vile, the fifi one had a really strong sickly vanilla flavour and the Noddy icing was lurid and strong and sickly... eek

Vanilla Ice cream and salted peanuts - the salt makes the ice cream melt just that bit and it's salty and sweet!
