Mumsnet Village Show - An Afternoon Tea Tray for One

So here we are again.

So far the rules are:

Tea tray for one

Can include anything you want suitable for a summer high tea (sandwiches, scones, cake, biscuits etc) with suitable cutlery and crockery and the like. (Silver service if you are terribly posh)

Five quid budget (on top of what you already have in your larder).

SlightlyMadScientist is the judge (heaven help us...is she properly qualified???)

Oh and all entries will be anonymous this time (A, B, C etc).

Time limit is 9pm next sunday so we can be judged before bed time.

The rules will obviously be bent or completely ignored but so long as its tea ish then anything goes.

Ok, so coming on and saying "I am trying to post photos of mine" and then mentioning that the LEMON is home grown, doesn't kind of give us a teeny weeny hint of whose it might be, then?

LOLOL

(looks gorgeous btw)

SconesandMajesticSandwiches · 28/06/2007 09:41

LL - I will go with the committee ruling on that one...I was thinking 1 entry only - but I guess you could volunteer to forfeit a Class2 entry?

SconesandMajesticSandwiches · 28/06/2007 09:42

I take it Califraus entry is up?!?!?!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 28/06/2007 09:43

LL - since it's anonymous you could (in theory) put as many as you like up. you just can't claim them all after!

If you think that 50 cupcakes is a suitable portion for one and can be appropriately presetented then go for it!!!

onlyWotzadodar · 28/06/2007 10:00

purplemonkeydishwasher · 28/06/2007 10:13

If it is later than 9 it will be at least 9pm on MOnday before the results are announced......

bettythebuilder · 28/06/2007 22:14

Oh, I'd love to take part again, but I'm afraid that a) talk of souffles and silver salvers scares me and
b) I used my trump card (ie pic of dd) on the last one.

WaynettaSpice · 28/06/2007 22:19

am too lazy to scroll down the entire thread, so am re-linking to Picturetrail here purely for my own benefit
