And not Marmite cos that's too obvious
I don't get why people bother buying mild cheddar, it's such a false economy - nothing you make with it is going to taste of cheese.

np, there used to be a woman i worked with who you could smell from across a desk (bleurgh).

nailpolish · 20/03/2007 12:35

VeniVidiVickiQV · 20/03/2007 12:38

HappyDaddy · 20/03/2007 12:45

Once she mentioned getting lovely presents for her birthday. All my guesses were soap on a roap, shower gel, a loufer, pampering kit. She just glared and said "why?". I just said, well you ladies love cleaning yourselves, don't you...

VeniVidiVickiQV · 20/03/2007 12:48

roap?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 20/03/2007 12:49

My manager at my last employers sprayed neutradol over an office screening at a woman who constantly smelled of wet dogs. He was too chicken to pull her into the office and say something. Like you arent going to notice someone spraying air freshener at you...

nailpolish · 20/03/2007 12:52

lol HD

a poor woman at my work never ever ever shaved her legs

she wore her nurses uniform with bare hairy legs

thick black hair

anyhoo, she got a bic razor in the secret santa one year....

cue tumbleweed across the staff room floor

WaynettaSlob · 20/03/2007 12:53

cress - I mean what's the point? It tastes of nothing and gets stuck between your teeth.

Prawns - vile fiddly yucky things

themoon66 · 20/03/2007 12:59

That prawn dish where they balance them round the edge of a pot of dip... yeuk... all them little black eyes looking at you.

Don't get oysters either. I wonder who first prised one open and thought 'Hmm, I'll try swallowing that horrible looking lump of snot'.

HappyDaddy · 20/03/2007 13:02

VVVQV, i've been drinking in the office so i won't do it at home (rolls eyes). Hence my spelling.

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 13:07

I agree with the bombay mix - urgh.
I'm surprised to find people do actually like aubergine, haven't met anyone in rl who admits to it, including my dad and my PILs who'll eat anything.
Cottage cheese - I think I should like it but it's just so bland in taste and disgusting in texture.

inanidealworld · 20/03/2007 13:07

No, quite like pate actually. Nice pate not like that stuff in jars called sandwich paste.

Twinkie1 · 20/03/2007 13:08

Cottage cheese makes me think of a really bad case of thrush!!

MrsPhilipGlenister · 20/03/2007 13:09

Twinkie - bleurgh!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 20/03/2007 13:09

Nope, i raelly really like aubergine.

And bombay mix.

And pate.

I am a freak of nature.

Cottage cheese is utterly pointless.

HappyDaddy · 20/03/2007 13:10

Twinkie1 - once, at school, my mum got her sarnies mixed up with mine.

Instead of lovely cheese and pickle I had cottage cheese. I took one bite and almost vomitted.

Never been the same since.

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 13:11

Yes, that was what thrush was compared to in our school biology lesson - which hasn't helped!
I also used to make sandwiches with it (if I added loads of pepper it at least tasted of something) but it made the bread all soggy [sick]

Katy44 · 20/03/2007 13:11

Almost thought I had identified something that no-one likes, but then I remembered my mum does

wurlywurly · 20/03/2007 13:18

smoked salmon (fishy breath)

cottage cheese.(yuk)

HappyDaddy · 20/03/2007 13:48

Marmite - what IS that shit?

Lazycow · 20/03/2007 14:06

I like aubergine (love it in fact)

Also I like almost everything (oysters & beetroot apart) that has been listed by everyone

The soup and gravy thing I know is odd - it is something to do with me preferring dry food. On the whole though I love most food (olives, capers, bomby mix, sushi - all lovely) and I do eat most soup( apart from tinned) if given it - it is just not something I understand as a food choice.

chopchopbusybusy · 20/03/2007 14:44

I watched the Masterchef final and thought everything that they cooked in the top French restaurant heat looked revolting. Tell me just why would you want to dye some pefectly nice looking rice black with squid ink? DD1 (13)missed the commentary about the sea urchins and believed that it was a hedgehog with soup in it .
And as for the 'foam' on top of everything yeuch - baby puke.

tasja · 20/03/2007 17:32

bread with peanutbutter and banana - YUM
orange chocolate - YUK

cremolafoam · 20/03/2007 17:41

mint in any form but in particular
tzatziki (heave)
also guacamole ( frog vomit)
and oysters( nose blow)

franca70 · 20/03/2007 18:00

Katy44, I'm Italian, there's no way I can possibly dislike aubergines . Actually, I can't digest them very well, but can't stop myself eating them!
