Tonight I am serving my children

Bird's Eye chicken dippers
Bird's Eye fish fingers
McCain Oven chips
Broccoli
Heinz Baked Beanz

I feel that my mind has been twisted so much that I actually feel bad at producing such a "poor" dinner. But that's silly, isn't it? I mean it's 100 % chicken breast (plus batter, 100 % cod (plus batter), potatoes and sunflower oil...

Is quorn really better than cheap chicken, nutrition wise I mean?

And what about eggy bread or french toast or scrambled eggs on toast? Is that virtuous? or is that just poisoning with sallmonella? Cos eggs are my quicky..

I haven't read of all this, can someone please tell me what a Pulse is? My Dh is british, but I guess he is not "classy" enough to know the answer. I just got "Cranks Bible" via Amazon and I was wondering.....they say beans and pulses....always at the same time...
