Just demolished a pack of jammy dodgers before reading this thread! I love so much crap it's unbelievable, but the awful thing is, won't let my kids have half of it. I figure I'm completely polluted so it doesn't matter.

harpsichordcarrier · 16/05/2006 18:46

oh I know Tutter no chips and gravy down here Sad
it's bleeding tragic

Tutter · 16/05/2006 19:26

actually HC i have to confess to finding something even more delicious than chips and gravy. ("no!") yes. you have to go north of the border for it though - they have some kind of wierdy sauce for chips - like a mixture of gravy and vinegar - and it is wonderful...

calicopie · 16/05/2006 19:30

Boil in the bag cod in butter sauce with chips and brown sauce.

Classy, me.

Banana sandwiches
Toast with lots of butter, thick slices of cheese and raspberry jam spread over the cheese [salivating emoticon] I never eat it though ... soooooo very fattening ....

Elvis · 17/05/2006 09:34

Kettlechips!
Could easily demolish a whole big bag if left alone to.

YeahBut · 17/05/2006 10:22

Cheese on toast.
Salt and vinegar Discos.
Irn Bru.

cardy · 17/05/2006 10:54

Ah, I was getting chips and curry mixed up with chips and gravy...not literally! I knew one was a bit of a northern thing. Both (secretly) delicious.

Twinkie1 · 17/05/2006 10:59

saying it really quietly - i love pork scratchings!!!! - weird when the smell or taste of pork makes me heave!!!

pegasus · 17/05/2006 11:27

Mother's Pride spread with Country Life dipped in Heinz Tomato soup
Very cheap versions of a Ginsters cheese and onion pasty
Extremely salty Country Crofter Gypsy Gamekeeper's soup, dried in a packet and not diluted with the full amount of water.

olivo · 17/05/2006 13:45

lilstarry1 · 17/05/2006 14:09

Hungry now!
My fav sandwich (and something I don't get to eat that often) is thus:

Granary Bread
Crunch Peanut Butter
Strawberry jam
Banana thinly sliced
Apple Sauce

MMMM good.

I'm also ashamed to love Pic N Mix. :) O and cold economy sweetcorn straight from the tin (classy bird!)
