Just demolished a pack of jammy dodgers before reading this thread! I love so much crap it's unbelievable, but the awful thing is, won't let my kids have half of it. I figure I'm completely polluted so it doesn't matter.

actually HC i have to confess to finding something even more delicious than chips and gravy. ("no!") yes. you have to go north of the border for it though - they have some kind of wierdy sauce for chips - like a mixture of gravy and vinegar - and it is wonderful...

Boil in the bag cod in butter sauce with chips and brown sauce.

Ah, I was getting chips and curry mixed up with chips and gravy...not literally! I knew one was a bit of a northern thing. Both (secretly) delicious.

saying it really quietly - i love pork scratchings!!!! - weird when the smell or taste of pork makes me heave!!!

I like gherkins too - there is a fab gherkin relish that Branston do that is great with chips, sausages, burgers, etc!
