We had turkey curry, naan bread and a lentil dahl as I'd been teaching kids about Divali.
We also made cards for Divali yesterday, one person said to me 'I didn't know you were Jewish'.

Hmmm.

Tonight my children had salmon roasted with herbs and garlic, with some pasta. Dh and I are having fish (lemon sole) in a spicy tomato sauce, from a Ken Hom recipe.
I had the remains of yesterday's rare roasted beef fillet for lunch, sliced up thinly into a salad with some baby spinach. Ds3 had sausages baked in tomato sauce and a piece of baguette. he was loving it but then threw the half empty bowl on the floor . Amazing how far tomato sauce travels...I then had a bit of a lapse following clearing the floor, the fridge door etc. i openened fridge door and ate 2 M&s extremely chocolately bites . Grrr. How am I supposed to get in trim doing stuff like this ?
