I saw it today, packed cinema,no one on their phones and lots of laughing and clapping and tons of sniffing and wiping tears away. I properly cried throughout half of it. Really well done and nicely wrapped up.

Really recommend the iPlayer interview with Helen Fielding , really good.

What time did you go?
Our cinema wasn't packed but it was Sunday morning.
Film is shown every hour, so there's plenty of chances to go.

Sunday afternoon, big cinema.

Saw it Friday, packed cinema.

It was ok, I enjoyed it still, Bridget Jones is comfort watching, not the best film of the lot, trying a bit hard in places, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Agree with the comment about her hair, unnecessarily unkempt compared to her wardrobe, also found the Bridgetness was a bit OTT when other characters had matured (the walk she does?!) but ahhh don't they make London look romantic?!

Watched today and enjoyed. Weren't the children great.
Definitely they have put it to bed now and no need for another one.
It's finished on a good note.

Not too.many in the cinema and it was great no noise, no people playing on their phones.
Some people online complaining about the balloon release. I thought they would.

The children were our favourites.

I finally got to see it and really loved it.

I loved all the callbacks to her past. Loved Daniel, loved the kids and the, well, the whole thing.

I thought it was just wonderful!

I must be in the minority I thought it was awful, cringeworthy. Loved 1 and 2. 3 was terrible 4 a tiny bit better than 3.

I agree. It was fine at a push if watching on a wet Sunday and feeling lazy, certainly not good.
Kind of like watching Tipping Point and Murder She. Wrote - Sunday afternoon tv.

Saw it yesterday & absolutely loved it.
Though personally speaking I think an extra 15 -30mins of Mr Wallilker's growing fascination with our Bridge would have been good.

Also changed my user name in honour of the film

I enjoyed it - BJ is a few years older than me, watched the first film as a student and feel like I’ve grown up with her. First couple of films are definitely better than the books, I can’t bring myself to read the later ones.

if I had an enormous bedroom/ensuite, and a massive downstairs area I could host a party in, my two children wouldn’t be sharing a bunk bed in a tiny room. Round the corner from Hampstead Heath or not! Various ludicrous things like this annoyed me (but then I’m grumpy in my 40s now) but overall I enjoyed it and glad I went to see it.

PassingStranger · 10/03/2025 17:06

Probably will.be on Sky movies in a few months. Will watch again.

I thought it was really boring and overly sentimental. Zero laughs.
