For me it's always the Twilight Saga. Then full on snot filled tissues when Edward's piece of music (Bella's Theme?) that he wrote for Bella.

I read the books before watching the films, and they too made me weep.

I know... I'm a sentimental nitwit.

Tangled - the lantern bit.
Love Actually - the proposal bit
The Blind Side - all of it
Up - the opening
Father of the Bride Blush - from about halfway through till the end.

And that was before having my Dd.

I sobbed big fat ugly cry through Mr Magorium's wonder emporium the other day. And the m and s advert. In assembly. In front of teenagers.

Good job they know what I'm like.

af2000 I remember that episode! Absolutely heartbreaking.

Also cry at most Disney/Pixar films. My best friend told me to watch Tangled, so I did - shortly after giving birth to DD. I rang her crying hysterically and she was like "God, NO! I didn't mean for you to watch it with a newborn!" HUGE mistake! It was the end that got me - when her Mum just grabs her and hugs her without saying a word.

The Let It Go sequence in Frozen also gets me every time - so beautifully done and combined with the song - sobfest!

Watched Up on my 30th birthday - remember telling my DH through sobs "I don't think it was a good idea to watch this on my birthday!" 😂

I would add that I usually cry at 24 hours in A&E episodes too. Especially when there are old people involved. And just generally marvelling at what an incredible job the hospital staff do.

For those who cry at In the Name of the Father, I recommend Hunger. You will be in bits

NikiBabe · 18/07/2017 17:46

A Monster Calls.

I don't want you to go!

God I bawled and by the look of it most of the rest of the cinema.

mortificado · 18/07/2017 17:47

Hatchi.
In fact, I don't sob, I break my heart.
Every. Bloody. Time.

lucydogz · 19/07/2017 22:48

A1 - the bit where his 'mother' abandons him in the woods and he's running after the car. I was awash.

Gothbaby · 20/07/2017 11:39

Since I had my daughters, I am a complete sap and will cry at anything. They laugh at me as I even cry at BGT.
But with films:
It's a Wonderful Life (the ending, but also the bit in the drugstore near the start)
Mamma Mia ('Slipping through my Fingers')
Toy Story 2 ('When She Loved Me')
Beaches
Forrest Gump
Life is Beautiful/La Vita e Bella
Mr Holland's Opus (the ending where he is signing 'Beautiful Boy' for his deaf son SNIFF)

Now is good.

Wasn't expecting much and it utterly blindsided me. It's based on the book 'before I die', very much recommend.

Gotanewusernamenow · 24/07/2017 22:23

A brief encounter. (1945) at the end Sad

AnneEtAramis · 24/07/2017 22:27

I haven't read this thread yet, but The Lake House with Sandra 'too friggin awesome' Bullock and Keanu 'never friggin ages' Reeves. When he takes her on a tour of Chicago, dances in the garden and when she realises when she is eating her sandwich.

AnneEtAramis · 24/07/2017 22:35

I have pretty much cried at all of these too. I cry at everything tbh.
