I know it's been out for AGGGGGGGESS but I watched P.S. I Love You the other night with the luscious Gerard Butler in it...I lost my husband in 2013 and it just made me go all slushy inside...beautiful film.

About Time. Beautiful film.

EdSheeransGString · 17/02/2015 10:11

The blind side. I love it

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 17/02/2015 10:25

Truly Madly Deeply. Amazing acting but they don't even make it anymore so copies are expensive and I don't have one! Probably a good thing...

FireflyLight · 18/02/2015 18:12

Salsmum, have you read the book PS I Love you? It's bloody brilliant. The film leaves quite a lot of the book out. But if you love the film it's well worth reading the book. It'll make you laugh and cry all at once.

Marley and me

Whippet81 · 20/02/2015 20:54

Everything makes me cry. Smerch I watched About Time begrudgingly as I don't do 'Rom Coms' but it was so lovely wasn't it? I bawled at that one scene.

There was one with Michael Keaton and I think Julia Roberts? Was it called 'My Life'. That's a real tearjerker.

Marley an me is a fucking hideous cryfest.
I thought it was a romantic comedy and rented it out to cheer me up after my nans funeral Shock

Toy story 3 makes me weep during the last bit

AlfieandAnnieRose · 20/02/2015 21:20

There's a films section op, you might want to move it there? Thought I'd mention as the films section is fairly new so you might not know about it.

And a film that makes me cry is Haachi! So sad!

MrsHenryCrawford · 20/02/2015 21:27

A night to remember, the bit when the little boy is looking for his mummy while the ship is sinking And an old man cuddles and tells him 'we will find your mummy soon!' Sobbb

thefirstmrsrochester · 20/02/2015 21:28

DDs friend lent us Marley and Me, I expected a gentle comedy. My god, the ending had the whole house blubbing (inc teenage ds) and generally feeling flat for quite some time. We are not even a dog household. Will never watch it again.

When Ellie dies in 'Up'. Love the movie, can't watch the first fifteen minutes though.

Love Story.

CountingThePennies · 20/02/2015 21:32

candykane25 · 21/02/2015 00:29

Love Story. Oh my word. Kleenexville.

ET. The scene with the river, I can't bear it.

Labtest7 · 21/02/2015 15:02

The scene in About Time with the dad and Tim as a child on the beach. Guaranteed tears. Guaranteed.

And in any case, what film with Bill Nighy isn't worth watching?

WestEast · 21/02/2015 18:06

DP just sobbed his heart out at Marley and me

lolalotta · 21/02/2015 18:18

How has "The Note book" not been mentioned yet?

Terms of Endearment! Proper sobbing, snotty, heartbreaking stuff - it's SO good.
Beaches & Steel Magnolias
Also, Toy Story 3 when Andy gives his toys to Bonnie. Gets me EVERY time.
Yes to ET, Up, About Time, Marley & Me (made the mistake of watching that shortly after a miscarriage thinking it was a comedy. Still can't watch that bit.)
I couldn't leave the cinema for a good 10 minutes after Schindler's List I was in such a state.
God, I love a good cry at a movie.

WowserBowser · 22/02/2015 12:48

So true Derek Grin

I can't watch ET as it upset me so much as a child.

Also Short Circuit 2 when he gets beaten up
